10 & 19 at University Park Country Club

Bag drop staff were friendly, as well as pro shop. This is a fairly high turnover course and you can tell with check in, starter, etc. things are expedient in this regard.

Range facilities are very good with dedicated range, chipping (short and long) and putting areas. Impressed with this offering.

10-18 Have a couple memorable holes but similar style of play being a little more narrow than the holes which follow on 19-27.

There was no mention from the starter about food/drink offerings at the turn, but they are available between 9’s, in addition there was a cart out on course but we only saw it once, and not until the 16th hole of the day.

19-27 Greens get larger and depending on pin placement, can be a good putting test. Nice finishing hole in 27. Fairways on 19-27 were in really nice shape, great hitting surface.

Overall this course is a solid offering and shouldn’t provide too much stress for those without a long straight ball from the tee (options exist on most if not all holes). The value at $150/125/100 (before noon/noon to 2:00pm/beyond 2:00) is debatable as there are choices in this price range within Sarasota/Bradenton region.

If you are visiting the area and haven’t played other offerings, this would be a good place to start and go up or down based on your budget.

Greens were great. Fairways plush. What else could you want.

This is my 5th visit to University Park. While its always a good time, yesterday was #1. Course was in excellent shape. Greens were perfect. New chipping area that just opened is great. Highly recommend.

Course in great shape as always. Stand friendly. Slow oace of play from group a few holes ahead that Rangers could not nudge.

UPCC is without a doubt, one of the finest golf courses in the area. I have never been disappointed playing there. I do really appreciate getting a Golf Now “hot deal” to play there as I do find their in-season rates to be somewhat high, but the market is what the market is and if they can get that much, more power to them. I’m sure the additional revenue helps them keep it in such great shape. it’s a challenging track. It’s professionally run. You just really can’t go wrong. The greens yesterday were especially nice.

The course has always been in pristine condition when I played in the past. The course was a little tired today

Really like this course and the choice of playing different nine holes. There are some very nice tree lined holes.

Nice course, open fairways, course layout is okay, not too much water.
