Great challengingly course
Our group was first off 707 am we let a couple of singles play through so we had a good pace. The greens were well maintained a little fast but rolled true. The fairways we’re lush with great lies. A large storm basin winds throughout the course making for some narrow fairways and trouble if your not hitting them straight. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly all this at 35 buck!.I’d like to keep it our little secret but this course deserves all the praise.
Hesperia
I haven’t played in 2 years. It was a perfect day out there. Weather was awesome and that made for a good game. Staff were friendly, hot dog and Bloody Mary sealed the deal. Brought a friend with me that plays all over SoCal and he enjoyed it as well. We’ll be going back.
Tough but great
Perfect greens. You must be in the fairways or you’re dead.
Awesome day in hesperia
For a Tues morning going out a single meeting up with two really wonderful gentlemen plus course conditions which were impressive greens on great shape. To me a traditionalist it brought out what Hesperia golf course is and should be. Recommend highly staff great just a A plus
Very nice “ squirrels!!”
Have played this course for many years. But this year, this course is in the best shape I ever seen it….Greens, fairways look awesome!!! Just 2 little problems if u want to get picky. The bunkers are hard and there are so many squirrels. But they get out of the way…..Great course lots of fun.
No one wants to play with dirty balls.
This used to be one of the cheapest golf courses around, so I could overlook the fact that it wasn't always maintain as well as it should be. Now that the course is under new management, the cost of a round of golf has increased significantly, which I expected. And while they have done some improvements to the clubhouse and course, there's still a lot of work to be done. My main complaint during this last round of golf, is that every single ball washer was dry and lacked towels..
Hesperia golf
I really like this course. Always in great condition and a challenging layout.
My only complaint was the pace of play on the back 9. Someone must have been really slow as it took over 2.5 housrs to complete holes 10-18. On how 18 there was a group on the green, a group in the fairway and 2 groups on the tee. We were waiting nearly 10 minutes on most of the back nine to tee off.
Different in a good and fun way
This is the greenest of the four local courses I play. It's got a lot of elevation changes. A few dried up water spots but that's what you expect up here. It has really cool split-level fairways. It has a couple of forced carries which I happened to carry it was I was stoked. I saw a lot of filled and packed divots, and repaired pitch marks. I note this because it's always a good sign when membership respects the course. It was a great round. Thanks
Good round
Some tee boxes a little rough, lots of squirrel holes and I wish golfers would fix the greens.
Course is in great shape
The course conditions are excellent. On weekdays there are very few people playing. I was able to walk all 18 in just under 3 hours. Highly recommend
Updates are great.
I played this course a few years back and vowed never to return. There were gopher holes in the fairways, greens were ill maintained and brown patches everywhere. It was awful. However, in 2020 during the pandemic the City of Hesperia moved to rejuvenate the course and boy does it show. No gopher holes in the now green and lush fairways, the greens are clear of any and all damage. And best of all no one seems to know of the rejuvenated state of the course so there's hardly any one there. Ever. With all that said it is still a Hesperia, CA golf course banking too much on the fact that they were a PGA tour destination about 30 some odd years ago. Those days are long. So don't charge golfers as if they're still here. If you couldn't care less about playing a full blown par 72 course save your money and go to Ashwood in Apple Valley. It's and executive course 5 miles away and 50 times better. Still kudos for the updates.
