Place is a joke, i cant believe its even on the golfnow list of courses to play in vegas area.

GD par 3 course, goose terds everywhere at 945am when we teed it. Slow pace , with exception of bartender and bev girl slanging bomb brekfast burritos avoid this place.

Weekend warrior (1 bogey at a time)

I have been playing this course since I can remember. We play at least a couple times per month. Lately the pace of play has been ridiculous. I understand it’s covid times but come come on!!!

It should not take 5 hours to play a par 60 executive course. I love this place but it has gotten way out of hand and now nobody I golf with wants to play here anymore.

We watched a group of 6 last week spend 45 minutes on hole 10 while we just waited at the tee box. We tee off at 11:30 and still don’t finish on a weekday?????

Played again on Saturday with my 70 yr old father. 3 1/2 hours to compete the front 9 and come to find out holes 11-15 were empty.

To me it’s more about $ less about golf. It’s really sad to be honest as I used to love playing here.

The Best Day Ever

After playing this game on a high competitive level for most of my life I decided to take my 14 year old daughter out for a round. Her first full round of golf with her dad. Just us two with hardly anyone around. She hit a 3 wood just feet off the front edge of the green. She took a 7 iron for a bump & run to within a foot of the cup. Made her putt for her very first par ever making it the best day ever 7 years ago. Now I rarely play with anyone other than her. Having won a state amateur title & a major golf scholarship along with several friends playing professionally nothing matches this day on this hole at Desert Willow. I’ll be back soon with her to play the course again.

Clubhouse staff suck Tee off guy is terrible and kept asking us if we were waiting for our 4th when we told him numerous times it was a threesome I do like the actual course it’s short fun and plays quick These old grumpy staff members need to stay at home and watch Murder She Wrote instead of having a day job

Best Executive Course, staff needs work

This is my favorite Executive golf course because the fairways are kept up well and the greens are very fast with great undulation. Something not typical for an Executive Course.

Two things that would need to happen to get me to 5 Stars, is a friendlier staff and speeding up the pace of play with a Marshall. Because a lot of beginners play at Executive courses, a Marshall should politely tell them to pick their balls up and move on to the next hole if they get behind to keep the pace of play moving.
