Great For Beginner
I've just started golfing in past couple of months (always thought I would hate it).. My more experienced friends thought this was a good place for me to start learning and we've had such a good time, that we now play here roughly once every week or so... mixed in with a few other courses. It's a good in terms of pace (moreso now with Covid-19 rules) and requiring a lot of short iron play/putting.... i.e., good for learning the basics.. The staff has been great every time, the scenery is beautiful and the course is in good shape. FYI, now I'm learning to love golf and this club has been a big part of that. Oh, and try the tequila sunrise if you get the chance!

Desert Willow 5/2/20
Staff was friendly. Course was in good shape. Foursome of ladies should have been kicked off the course for being unbelievably slow. Once we got past them pace was excellent.

Fun day playing
Course is in great shap. We played corona virus rules where you just have to hit a small cone and it's good
It was nice to just get out of the house. The course was really busy but the pace of play was really good at 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Rude residents to paid customer during COVID-19
I feel bad for the golfer who just recently played DW and Paid in FULL online via GNow and found out the course was closed...I live on this course and I too would’ve played the full 18 holes despite a lot of the RUDE and OLD folks who THINK they own the course..DW should’ve notified GNow to suspend tee times during the COVID-19 issue..wasn’t your fault and sadly probably won’t get your money back any time soon..I’ve had verbal run ins with these cranky folks and I have the advantage of shutting up these rude folks by basically telling them to “QUIET-DOWN” with a more aggressive tone and not backing down just cuz they live here as do I after showing them my residence ID ..at times a ball comes near their property and they know it’ll happen..and they feel they have to put in their 2-cents at you...I hope you come back soon when all this is over and enjoy DWGC it is an awesome course DESPITE the old cranky ailing folks who act like BULLDOGS when really they’re just yapping chihuahuas!!!!

We got our money taken
I payed for a round on golf now and the showed up to find nobody at the course and it being close. Since I already paid I played my round and walked the round and continued to get yelled at by people that lived on the course. I showed the Marshall and community members my paid receipt but they were extremely rude to the point where I didn’t finish even half my round. I would like my money back if possible

Great little course
An excellent course to hone your short game. Challenging greens, course is in very good condition. Traps have the right amount of sand and tee boxes are level and well groomed. Course can be busy when the weather is nice but play seems to move pretty well. Played today, 1-1/2 hrs on front and 2 hrs on back. I will be back often.
