Oldest course in Vegas is fun to play
Place could use more grounds upkeep and was very wet in morning from sprinklers being on just before our 6am T-time.
The course was fun to play and greens were fast.
Hi, glide17. We would love to hear more about your 4-star experience on our course. Please tell us what we can do to earn that last star, and thanks for golfing at WildHorse Golf Club!
I guess you get what you pay for.
While the cost to play Wildhorse is very reasonable compared to other courses in the area, the course conditions were very average. In addition, it was almost impossible to get a beverage while playing. We tee’d off at noon and made the turn at 2pm. We decided to stop at the snack window to buy some food and a beverage, but it was already closed for the day (?). In addition, we did not see a beverage cart during the entire round. It made for a pretty thirsty round as the temperature that day was around 90F. I guess you get what you pat for.
Ouch! That stung!
Great staff, from the pro shop to the snack bar. Tom the starter was easy to chat up. I felt like I was at home. Unfortunately this course was a disappointment. Without the benefit of a heads-up or any communication from the starter, pro shop employees or signs on the course defining work in progress, the whole course was in very poor condition. Fairways and greens were in need of work and course play reflected it. Shame on Whitehorse staff for not explaining course conditions and charging the Out Of Town golfer the exorbitant fee. Overall this was not at $109.00 round of golf by any stretch of the imagination. In conclusion, I walked away feeling I was taken advantage of for being an out of town golfer. Congratulations Whitehorse. You got over.
Not wonderful
i have played this course before.. its a nice course.. but today i had to load my own clubs.. and there were 4 cart attendants looking at their phone or watching me.. nearly 20 feet away!! Im a single woman.. and i even looked over at them to see if they made eye contact.. they never looked at me. There was little welcome from the starter.. he seemed grouchy.. it was not particularly busy for a Sunday either. The pro shop is always friendly and helpful. snack bar is too. But the cart staff needs some training.

Poor conditions
The course is in awful condition. You're hitting off dirt in the fairway much too often. Greens are patchy. Bathrooms are not adequately maintained. Price is too high for the conditions. Used to be a beautiful course.
Poor Quality for the value
Fairways are not in good shape. Grass is way too thin and often you are hitting off dirt. Difficult to get a good strike on the ball. For $60 (local rate more for others) there are much better courses to play in Las Vegas. I would value the course at a $40 rate due to poor conditions.
Good putting greens and chipping area. Although you are usually hitting off dirt/sand on the driving range .
Course was interesting but a bit tired.
Course was interesting but a bit tired. Group infront were very slow as they were playing as a 6 ball which is very poor on a busy course. Otherwise it was decent value for money.

ML13
Paid a little over $100 for this round. Course was in terrible condition. Several of the greens were covered in green sand. It took me 5 hours to complete the round. For the price I paid, I expected a much better course. I felt sorry for the homeowners in beautiful homes surrounding the course. Definitely would not recommend to anyone. Need to get this course back into shape. Very disappointed, but at I played with some very nice people.

Wild horse
No other options, play wild horse. Tees and greens need lots of work.

Wildhorse course
The course was in very poor condition. There were many areas where the grass was dead or non-existent. Not sure if the course has been watered because it was very brown. Golf ball sure goes a long way though.

Starting to look good
Course is in good condition. A couple of greens and tee boxes are sanded, but over all not bad. Always get treated well there by the staff, and with golf prices going insane in Las Vegas this isn’t a bad place for the money. Complete over priced for what you get, but that golf in Las Vegas! Over priced and completely poor value even for the locals that kept all these places open over the years!
Hi, dkashnow. Thank you so much for your feedback. We are glad you had enjoyed your time at WildHorse Golf Club, and pride ourselves on delivering the best experience possible.
We hope to see you again soon!
A couple of your greens were a little thin and struggling. Hole number 1 right off the jump was struggling. As an opening green it does show show promise for the day ahead. Though the course finished strong and maintained far better. I know there are some struggles right now with water, so it’s understandable. You ask why it’s not five stars, that’s about the only knock I have.

Great course for the money!
With the crazy increases in golf in Vegas Wildhorse has held true and provided a great course for a good price!

Best Roll Course Ever
Never experienced a course with incredible ball roll like Wildhouse. We enjoyed the course very much.

Course condition
I’m sure the watering situation affected the gateways and greens but was surprised to see the greens and aprons painted. The signage on the back 9 leaved us wondering where the next tee box was hiding.

They use to be friendly to families on the course
I’ve been bringing my 2 sons, 6 & 8 years old, to this course regularly for years. The only reason I would play here, because it is never in good shape, is because they use to be friendly about having junior golfers on the course, and you don’t get that at a lot of Vegas courses. Today, I was told that my kids, who were not going to be playing, will now cost $20 per kid to accompany me on the cart. My 2 boys who are still small enough to share a cart with me, would now cost me an extra $40 on a round that was just $35 for myself. I’ve never so much have been given a sideways glance at bringing my kids to this course, let alone asked to pay a double extra rider fee for a late afternoon tee time. My kids both have been in Youth on Course, know all the proper golf course etiquette and follow the dress code with polo shirts and all the proper attire…they’re not going to cause any problems. Families get so much discrimination at golf courses here, it was nice for awhile to have a course, albeit not a great one, that were friendly to juniors and parents trying to let their kids experience the game of golf. The explanation I was given as to why they were starting this new charge was for “insurance purposes.” The older gentleman working the counter told me, “We’re still friendly to Juniors, you just have to pay to bring them here.” Noted. I will not pay $75 for a late afternoon tee time at Wildhorse. I emailed the manager, Jon, about my experience and never received even so much as the courtesy of a response. I won’t be back. And if you’re a parent looking for a place that’s easy going about kids on the course, look elsewhere.
