With the crazy increases in golf in Vegas Wildhorse has held true and provided a great course for a good price!

Never experienced a course with incredible ball roll like Wildhouse. We enjoyed the course very much.

I’m sure the watering situation affected the gateways and greens but was surprised to see the greens and aprons painted. The signage on the back 9 leaved us wondering where the next tee box was hiding.

Don’t arrive hungry, the restaurant/bar upstairs is a ghost town.

I’ve been bringing my 2 sons, 6 & 8 years old, to this course regularly for years. The only reason I would play here, because it is never in good shape, is because they use to be friendly about having junior golfers on the course, and you don’t get that at a lot of Vegas courses. Today, I was told that my kids, who were not going to be playing, will now cost $20 per kid to accompany me on the cart. My 2 boys who are still small enough to share a cart with me, would now cost me an extra $40 on a round that was just $35 for myself. I’ve never so much have been given a sideways glance at bringing my kids to this course, let alone asked to pay a double extra rider fee for a late afternoon tee time. My kids both have been in Youth on Course, know all the proper golf course etiquette and follow the dress code with polo shirts and all the proper attire…they’re not going to cause any problems. Families get so much discrimination at golf courses here, it was nice for awhile to have a course, albeit not a great one, that were friendly to juniors and parents trying to let their kids experience the game of golf. The explanation I was given as to why they were starting this new charge was for “insurance purposes.” The older gentleman working the counter told me, “We’re still friendly to Juniors, you just have to pay to bring them here.” Noted. I will not pay $75 for a late afternoon tee time at Wildhorse. I emailed the manager, Jon, about my experience and never received even so much as the courtesy of a response. I won’t be back. And if you’re a parent looking for a place that’s easy going about kids on the course, look elsewhere.

Course conditions are terrible, not worth the price. Also, I waited on every hole for Frisbee golfers that are criss crossing every hole and slowing up everyone. This course is a joke.

First, the course layout is a nice one but fairways are dry and rock hard. Bunker sand was so hard you couldn’t get under the ball, the wedge bounced off of the hard pan. Greens were in good shape but surrounding areas need some tender loving care. Finally there was a beverage cart but we only saw it once in 18 holes. Bar and grille was really good and food was fresh and made to order.

I picked Wildhorse this time (live in SoCal but play in Vegas a few times a year) to see if I could find a fairly well maintained course in Vegas for under $ 100. The staff was very friendly and for the most part the course layout isn't too difficult but the conditions were just ok. The practice area is nice but there was no grass left in the hitting areas. On the course, fairways are pretty bare, so it wasn't often you would get a nice lie. The roll out on drives was nice but that was about it.

The greens were so-so. Some diseased areas and rolling slow. Bunkers were hard. So conditions not great but staff was friendly and overall was ok experience, but if you want nice fairways and greens you should try elsewhere.

I HAD A CLIENT IN TOWN AND WANTED TO PLAY GOLF. HE'S FROM OREGON AND LOVED THE TREES AND THE COURSE GREENS THE FAIRWAYS ARE GROWING AND I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT MOST COURSES HAD PAINTED GREENS AND NOW THEY ALL ARE GROWING GRASS. WILDHORSE IS THE ONLY COURSE I NOW THAT STAYS OPEN WHEN OTHERS ARE SHUT DOWN FOR OVERSEEDING AND BELIEVE ME THAT'S GREAT FOR THE GOLFER.

THE ONE THING I WOULD SAYIS TO PAINT THE TEE BOX HORSESHOES.

I LIKED WHEN WE DROPPED OFF OUR BAGS AT THE BAG DROP, THEY WERE IN A CART AND READY WHEN WE PARKED THE CAR AND RETURNED. SOME PLACES MAKE YOU CARRY YOUR OWN BAG, BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO BUSY. THEY WILL TAKE YOU TO THE PARKING LOT AFTER YOUR ROUND.

The course was very dry and grass was pretty hard. It definitely does not look as advertised from the pics. Pretty disappointed.

I have played here almost every time I come to Vegas in the past, but until they turn the water back on it will be my last time. The condition was the worst I have seen outside of my own province in Canada and we have snow for 5-6 months a year. The fairways had little to no living grass, greens weren't much better. The final insult was charging 60.00 for it. I won't be back until I hear that it is back to normal

Played here a year ago and it was quite decent. Just the other day , I could not believe just terrible of a condition the course was in. It was truly awful. Plus they allow disc golfers put during regular golf. I had to wait for 5+ minutes on several holes so the 4 carts of disc golfers would clear out of my fairway. Won't be coming back here. Really really bad 👎

I always link up with good people that make the round more enjoyable. Don't hesitate to go solo

It’s a classic Vegas/Henderson course with a great layout. Having played during this time of year all over the Vegas Valley, seeing how each course comes out of dormant winter conditions is different.

Wildhorse is looking good coming into spring golf season. The greens are soft and rolling great. A Muni this busy and with such good deals on food/beverages it compares to much pricier courses near by with much more playability for all handicaps. Grass and trees Championship layout that will both challenge you and give you birdie chances.

Lots of geese popping all over the course. It makes it smell very bad. Some of the fairways could use some work.

Was informed, after paying, that 2 junior golf tournaments were going on. I'm all for getting kids playing, just would like some prior knowledge of larger slow groups playing ahead.

The front nine restroom is BAD. men's side locked & women's doesn't have water stunk very badly

Many greens aprons and fairways were vertical cut-there was no mention of course conditions. Definitely not worth the price. Would not play again or recommend this course.
