The Legacy Golf Club

Played nice fast round the sand traps are terrible. A lot of vegas courses have less then par sand traps. Legacy has rocks in it which damaged the face of my club. They also need to work on cart paths many are in disrepair. Fairways and green are good sand 👎

The starter John was wonderful and helpful. Course is in the best condition I’ve seen it in recent years. They’ve done a lot to upgrade it. The rough is no longer looking like some dude named starched from the 70s and the fairways are pristine. Very impressed with what new management has done with the place.

Booked a last-minute tee time at 4pm on a Friday in mid-April and just finished 18 by 730pm. Aside from a couple greens needing repairs and the bunkers needing some extra sand, the course is in terrific shape!

Although it is tough and longer from the tips, the fairways are fairly forgiving and the drier air/ground conditions allow the ball to travel further than other areas.

The staff was also very accommodating for a last -minute tee time and made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of....all for a daily fee rate of $70!!! That's a steal coming from someone who usually has to pay $120+ for similar courses in Southern California.

Will return for sure if things stay the same for this venue.

course condition was not good at all, its gotten so bad there, slow play and parts of the cart path are horrendous. I will not play there again. Used to be a lovely course to play. It would have been 5 hours of play but I was able to only play 17 cause of this.

Course is fun to play with a nice combination of birdie holes and challenging holes as well. Nice practice facilities and the staff was great.

The course was in very poor condition. The bunkers were like hitting off of concrete. The fairways and greens were in fair condition. The rest of the course was in very poor condition. There were a number of places where the cart paths were badly broken.

Greens, firm, rolled well, not terribly receptive but you adjust. Tee boxes could use a little more car but not horrible. Fairways need some more love, spots were quite thin, some had good grass, they have reseeded some sections but not the traditional overseen that other course use. Still god value compared to some other courses we’ve played in vegas. Would not pay “rack rate” but golf now had a better rate.

I was excited to play this course as the website has good photos. The driving range had very old mats and a mix of overused and newish balls. The driving range is in between the #1 tee and #9 fairway so there were a LOT of balls on each hole, fairway, sand trap, etc... The greens were in average condition, the fairways were rock hard, had patches of brown and areas that were cross hatched brown and green. The sand traps were hard pan and good luck if the ball went in one. The cart trails were horrible- large cracks, raised parts that were a trial to get over and even had parts in between cement that were just dirt and rocks. The course had a pretty good layout, it just needs some TLC.

Legacy is a nicely laid out long course. Water on just a fee holes, average.size fairways and n I serous traps. It is a pretty course and staff is very friendly with lots of smiles.

The course for me had some challenging holes but I’m a 28 handicap and we had wind gusts up to 32 mph

But overall nice place to play

Had a great round..greens were fast on the front and slowed down the last 5..was windy but put my stinger swing to use..excellent day

Course is in good condition especially the greens.. Staff friendly and very helpful. Pace of play was slow but we were told when we booked in so it was expected. Saw the beverage cart 3-4 times on our round which was great.

We found that we had a number of tight lies the fairways are cut short so where the irrigation does not reach the grass is sparse so ball is basically on the dirt.

Overall great condition, good fairways and nice tee boxes. One problem I have is slow greens. Other than that it’s a great course, and has some pretty challenging holes.
