The Legacy Golf Club

Played here Monday and didn’t know I was playing the US open. Rough was thick and if you missed fairway by one foot it took you 5 minutes to find your ball. With 4 guys looking often only found your ball if you stepped on it. They must have gave everyone the day off greens were not mowed or rolled. Impossible to predict speed or roll since ball bounced all over the place. Half the tee boxes were not flat especially where they put the markers for the par 3 10th it was on a mound. Well over 100 degrees that day no beverage service the entire time. Don’t be fooled by the low price for this course. You get what you pay for and this was not an enjoyable experience.

Fairways had hard rock bare spots.

Roughs were 8 inch tall, lost balls that barely rolled off fairway.

Sand traps were hard as rocks.

102 degree day: saw cart girl 2 times, she didn't have water, the 2 igloos on the course were bone dry.

Played 8/27 they need to cut the grass 5 inches out of fairway your ball is lost. The sand traps are like cement no sand at all. The beverage cart needs to make rounds very hot and visits are few and far between.

Although it does seem they are putting work into the fairways, the overall condition was not good. The cart paths alone were such a headache. Just plain bad. The sand traps were terrible as well, it was like hitting off concrete. The roughs around the greens were so deep I lost multiple balls about 3-5 feet from the greens.

At the beginning of the year, they sell players cards for $160-$200. Ends up you don’t get a thing for that except 5 free rounds of golf and driving range balls. No discounts off playing rates like it used to be in the past. Then halfway through the season they changed management companies and discontinued the players card and not honoring itt any longer with no refund. Just SOL. Would not recommend Legacy to anyone. They don’t cater to the player. Been going for over 20 years and now I’m over them

They were watering the greens while people were golfing. That was hole #12 but the same was on #10. The rough was super uneven throughout the course.

Bring plenty of balls . The rough is rough,long sometimes very hard to find your ball.

Great day at Legacy. Not too crowded and course in good shape. Greens really nice.

The fairways and tee boxes were fine. The greens are horrible.

The course is in the best condition i have found in the last two years.The greens have filled in nice with a smooth and reasonable pace.

This course need some serious TLC. It’s in a sad state.

Tje T Boxes are is a poor condition as if they have been neglected for a long time. The whole course needs to be redone. Not worth the overall cost there are better courses for the money.

Good course for the price. Conditions were good, they had to send the bev cart home because it was empty but that was good for pace of play

They put a 5some out in front of us. They were horrible golfers and they played from the tips. They said the greens were rolling to a 7 but they felt like a 5.
