The Legacy Golf Club

This outing at Legacy Golf Club, I usually will play it 4-6 times per year, I encountered strong winds. The club generally plays long and of course a heavy breeze affects no matter where we play. Weather was tough but the organization and the people are always friendly. The 19th hole has an excellent menu and again, good people working there. If you really enjoy letting the clubs free and swinging for the long drive and long second shot then this is an excellent club to play. Highly recommend it to both locals and visitors!

The course is in great condition. The pace of play was great. Great friendly service would definitely play again. Just moved to Grand Legacy Estates good course right in my own backyard.

I was so passionate about "fixing" this course that I had an experiment designed to adjust the drastic difference in their yardage on the scorecard (whites at 6211, yellows at 5300). There's a huge gap there that needed to be addressed. They had already kind of done this, but didn't seem to put a lot of thought into it. Hopefully they will take my suggestions (which I e-mailed to the GM) to heart. It has wonderful potential and some great signature holes, and the tweaks they need to make aren't big or expensive. Good value, but can be a tough test if you're off your game.

Nice course, conditions were good, Pace of play was listed as good. No one else on the course. We played at 1pm, it's Las Vegas and it was 110 degrees. No one else is crazy enough to go out in temps like that. We played in 3 hours.

Lots of burnt spots on fairways & greens were very slow & shaggy. Must have been a slow day. No one at bag drop. Other than that had an enjoyable round with 2 good friends. I play here occasionally would come back for the right price.

Challenging, tough greens. Well maintained. I will be back.

Course was in great shape, teamed up with a threesome that knew the course & were friendly. I would recommend to anyone looking for challenge & a good course for variety of shots required.

One of my favorite courses in the area, unfortunately, i dont get to play there very often because of rates i cant afford without the help of golfnow. Its just a really nice layout, ups and downs, side to sides, very well maintained, and its in a beautiful area. Greens were recently sanded but still played ok, not full of massive holes. Huge difference in distance, and scenery between front and back tees.

Apart from the slow greens, it's a fine course. The greens make putting awful which is a huge part of the game. I would pick a different course in the future because the condition is always the same.

I used to play Legacy once/week until I moved from Las Vegas, so I was really looking forward to playing it again on a trip to LV. I was a little disappointed. It was just a bunch of little things that made it go from a very nice course to just a typical "muni" grade course. They have either cut the maintenance budget, changed staff, of both.

The fairways showed signs of stress and burnout that shouldn't be occurring until late July. The greens were just average, a little bumpy. The concrete cart paths were pitted, sculled, cracked and had numerous potholes. Branches from bushes overhung the cart paths in multiple places. Most of these issues can be easily resolved. That's what made it so disappointing.

On the positive side, the staff was very friendly, but we were 25 minutes late getting started, and the round took 5 hours. This shouldn't happen with a 10:00 am tee time. I realize that this can sometimes happen, but based upon other on-line reviews we have read, this is not an uncommon occurrence. As an example, on #10, there were 4 groups backed up. Not a sign of competent management.

If you are looking for just an average course, and have a whole day to kill, this is it.

When we got to Hole #12, there were 4 groups on this hole, Ranger came by, we asked if they could speed up play. No
response, he went behind us to go to the Cart barn ??

I played black mt. in henderson the following day, 4 hrs. 15 min.

Legacy might want to hand out a Hammick - so we could nap between holes.

I can say I played it but don't see any reason to return.
The only thing different were the tee boxes. ( The shape ) Hearts, Spades, Diamonds, Clubs

This course was amazing! The staff was friendly, the establishment was neat and clean and the pace of play was good. I am from San Diego and I come to Las Vegas quite a bit. I will play this course again.

Lost my keys and staff was quick and responsive to help me to recover them on top of a great round in clean well kept condition

The course was in good condition although the greens were a little slow. Staff friendly and helpful.

We got there and it started raining but that didn't keep us from playing. Ended up with a wide open course and it cleared up by the 7 th hole. Really glad I booked this course.

First time playing this course. Challenging and fun. Lots of players which slowed down play. Other than the pace of play, the course was in great condition and the entire staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return.

IVE NEVER PLAYED HERE BEFORE, I WAS EXCPECTING THEIR GREENS TO BE FASTER, HOWEVER THEY WERE SLOWISH, OVERALL IT A NICE CHALLENGING COURSE
