Desert Pines Golf Club is often referred to as "The Pinehurst" of Las Vegas. It offers a Carolina sandhills experience, yet is conveniently located just minutes from downtown or the Strip. This Dye design features thousands of mature pine trees lining the well-groomed fairways where white sand bunkers protect large, undulating, bent grass greens. Because of the large number of pine trees, often times this course is cooler than other courses in the heat of the summer. Although there are no forced carries, water comes into play on 9 of the 18 holes.

Terrible greens. Holes and dead grass

I’m not sure how you try to get money back. But what we paid for was not worth it the greens were horrible..I don’t like to complain but that was not worth $10.

Poor service and conditions

If your greens are as chewed up as these are, you shouldn’t be charging full price! Awful conditions on the greens and most of their tee boxes are not level! The inside staff was fantastic, cart attendant fantastic. Outside staff not so much. Don’t bother asking any questions, they’ll just ignore you, and then give you an attitude if you ask a second time! Wasn’t a bad layout, but the conditions were atrocious! Every green was terrible!

Greens all chewed up...

Yeah, they have some bad fungus on the greens. It may not be until 5 months they get those greens fixed. Mark of a good course is their greens. Cashier said they need TLC. They need a overhaul. The starter was kind of a dick.

Greens are Dead

Greens were aerated In April which subsequently killed off the grass.... Do not play, greens are not puttable!

Golf alone

I always enjoy golfing when no other golfers are in front of behind me..hitting 2 balls per hole ran the course in 2 hrs flat!! Airated greens but no problem putting..great weather couldn’t ask for a better day!!;

Greens beat up but nice layout

Greens were just plugged. Do not good. Fairways were fine. It’s a nice view all around.. clubhouse is great pro shop people very friendly

Greens need work.

Course is in fantastic shape besides the greens. They are still recovering from being punched two weeks ago and there are a few that have almost barren sections with no or spotty grass. But they rolled well for the shape they were in.
