Desert Pines Golf Club

Very nice course. The greens are very challenging

Desert Pines is a fun course with an interesting layout. The course is not long. However, it has great mountain and Vegas Strip views. There is a nice amount of water throughout the course which adds to the beauty.

Fairways are nice but tight, and the ruff is just that.

Greens were very fast and rolled great (be cautions with the speed).

I was a lil concerned because the course look so brown on some pictures. But it's greener than expected and a beauty of a course for the price. A pleasant surprise for me during a vacation on Thanksgiving break.

Great course first time playing a Pete Dye course . and it was my Birthday and I hit my second Hole in one . Hole number 11 149 yards. great day!!

well maintained course with good greens and tees, fairways are a little sparse in spots but over all not bad. If you like a course that doesn't require a driver for your second shot try this one , worth playing.

Layout is ok, strategic golf required, a pete dye so lots of sand and water. Guess they didn't overseed this year and it shows, fairways are flat, almost appearing compressed or steam rolled, no nice cushy lies here, the worst looking grass out here for this time of year, that I've seen.

Greens were sandy and hard. Fairways could use improvement. Day was super windy, so made golf course a bit tougher than it was.

The course is not long but it is still challenging.

This was my first time playing this course and I was really impressed. The staff was amazing and the course was very well manicured. It’s not a long course but very well designed. It’s still going to be a nice challenge

Excellent course for the money. Not too difficult but still somewhat challenging to have fun. Will play again.

My son and I played from the tips. Which made for a good length but, very tight. The coarse is packed into a very small area. So, pin point accuracy off the Tee is needed to score well. It seemed like we were hitting from the other fairway or someone was hitting from ours all day long. With the exception of the greens being a little slow, the course was in excellent condition. Staff was outstanding and very friendly.

Tee Time was 1:30pm, so of course u expect it to be a little slower cause of the volume of players on course for the cheap rate. But, with no marshall, (which I notice most courses here in Las Vegas don't have), there isn't nobody official to push the slow group ahead. We waited on every hole, for at least 4 to 8 mins! For one thing, the group ahead were playing from the back tees, which is not correct tee box for this group. There drive hardly went straight or far! There were all over the place, looking for there balls, standing there watching there ball, etc.. etc.. "No ready" golf in this group either! The group behind them had to wait. Our group behind the 2nd group had to wait.. With no marshall, it was a long round!! I believe we called the pro shop, but nobody came out? On top of that the 2nd group quit after 9 holes, so we were the next group behind slow one & of course it creates a daisy chain, so group behind us waited also! I believe we were patience enough, but sometimes enough is enough, cause u lose your own game & rhythm! It was a long 5 hr day!! I wouldn't recommend playing in afternoon..

First, the entire staff very courteous and helpful! Fairways and sand were fine. However, greens had been punched and sanded and were hard putting for $109. Again, folks very nice but just a fair experience.
