Rhodes Ranch Country Club

This was a better course before some land was sold for housing. I would play it again however.

Course was in fantastic shape. The course layout can be a little difficult for players starting off to play. My suggestion to players learning or never plays is to start off playing par 4 or executive courses. All you will do is slow everyone down and make gold less enjoyable for everyone.

Great scenery on every hole. Inside of gated community, beautiful area. Very engaging staff. Highly recommend for golfers visiting Vegas.

Listen. It's just your local municipal course in Vegas if you're from out of town. Overcrowded, fairly easy, but with Vegas prices and desert weather. I will say they hooked us up with a couple free drinks a piece over a miscommunication on the phone earlier (The range is closed for maintenance from 1-2?). The staff were also very friendly, which was very surprising given some of the reviews we read about that not being the case. There's nicer places to go for a better value though.

I haven’t played here in years and today I was reminded of why I avoid it.

First off I checked in and all was good with the staff in there. I have just gotten over covid and asked if I can have a separate cart so I don’t expose anyone or make them feel uncomfortable seems I was a single and it was a foursome. I was told it’s an additional 40.00 charge to get a separate cart EVEN THOUGH I was diagnosed with covid recently.

Clearly they have no desire to keep their guests safe.

Secondly is the pace of play. We tee’d off at 12 noon and didn’t even make the turn until 2:45. Multiple groups waiting on every hole (including par 5’s). I quit after 9 because when we pulled up to 10, we were the 3rd group waiting. I live in the Rhodes Ranch community and laugh when I drive by the holes because it’s ALWAYS backed up and slow, so it’s not like today was a special off day. Honestly, the only good thing about this place is the condition of the fairways.

We arrived and were greeted very nicely by the check in staff at the clubhouse. They took our clubs from the car to the practice facility and lined us up so that you knew exactly how many 4somes were ahead of your to t-off. Course has generous fairways, yet challenging. Pace of play was great (4 hours). Condition of the course was terrific. Everyone of the staff was very attentive. Will for sure play here again and again.

Course is nice but has had two holes shortened from original design to add housing. ☹️ Played 9/5/21, before overseen and greens were not in great condition. Of course the LV must be challenging to deal with for superintendents. This was a bargain still at mid-$40 for 18.

It's ridiculous to charge for a bucket of golf balls on the day of play. They can't simply supply 25 range balls in a basket to a patron?

Then, to make you feel even less appreciated and welcome, they refuse to throw a couple lousy bottles of water in the cart when it's 100+ degrees outside.

The vibe was anything but a "welcome, thank you for your business and we'd love to have you back" mentality.

Some of the greens on the front were spotty with some bare spots… back greens were great

Great service checking in. The starter process was poor. No communication with golfers waiting in the carts with no keys. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in poor shape. I know they are preparing to over seed but many places were bare dirt. Many of the greens appear to have some kind of fungus on them creating areas of no grass. They have rakes near the bunkers but the 2 groups in front of us never used them. No gps in the carts and the pace of play was very slow.

You book way too many tee times, you want pace of play to be 4.5 hours but book ppl 8 minutes apart.

Smh I’ll never play there again
