Goat Track or Busy Saturday...
First of all no one was at the bag drop but that's fine it was busy. We had a 12:38 teetime and made are way to the driving range about noon. I have been to some course that needed to hit off mats but your mats are completely worn out and there were little kids running all over the place, fine you are family friendly, the range was a waste of time. I asked the course employee filling up the balls at the range where the first teebox was at for the Palm Course in which he pointed west and said over there, not follow the cart path pass the putting green and in front of the clubshouse, just over there. We make it to the starters which told us to go to the first tee and go when the group ahead of us is clear. We wait for about five minutes for them to clear and then teeoff. As we get to our balls we notice the second teebox has three groups waiting plus the group on the first green. We finish the first hole where we then become the fourth group waiting to teeoff on the second hole, a thirty plus minutes wait. By the time we made it to the seventh hole we knew we were going to quit after nine. I did notice a course employee standing with a clip board on eight and asked him the fastest way to the clubhouse after nine, he asked if we were not have fun on the course and I said no, it's horrible to wait this long between shots. He said it was busy, I said we teeoffed at 12:38 his reply was, "oh wow," of course we were on our way to three hours on the front nine, He said we should have booked an earlier teetime if we wanted to finish 18... You should hire a marshal and if he is your marshal I would replace him. We make it back to the clubhouse and cart return where none of the employees even acknowledged we were there, we took our clubs and left... No need to mention anything to the prostaff because we figured they would have the same lackadaisical attitude the rest of the course employees had... I was embarrassed to have recommend the course to my friends. Will not return and never recommend it or any OB Sports courses. I have played almost every course in the Las Vegas area and this course ranks very low. I like the experience I had at The Legacy, Painted Desert and Stallion Mountain but will never play them again. I would not recommend it to people I didn't like.
well maintained
the staff was great went out of there way to help us also got us out early. the course was in good shape great greens the only down side was it was next to a lot of busy roads
Had a great time here.
This was the first of four straight days of playing and Angel Park was a perfect start.
this course has fast green and up and down
day I play , wind was up to 30 mile in hour. .. I hope this was not everyday condition..
Good experience.
Counter guys were friendly.Course in good condition. As a single they got me out 30 minutes early with a good group of guys.
Will most likely play here next time I visit Las Vegas.
Great course design in a beautiful setting
My friends (3) and I had one of the best outings of our lives. The course staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The restaurant food was great and reasonably priced, and the service was unsurpassed. Will return to play either the Mountain or Palms the next time I am in Vegas.
Friendliest staff I have ever encountered.
From the moment we walked into the pro shop we were greeted and made to feel welcome. Awesome people. Very nice course for all levels. Great shape. Pace of play was terrific.
Course has great challenges.
The course was in great shape.
The views from the course was excellent.
Greens are tough to putt unless you know a few tricks.
Luckily I played with someone who knew the tricks to play the course.
Even knowing the info, the course was still very challenging but very enjoyable.
Very poor course, very slow and dismissive staff
Very poor course would not play again, only played 15 holes as waited on every shot from the off, staff had apparently overbooked, staff did not care about issues. Would NOT play again and would NOT recommend
Great desert course!
Played the forward tees which in most cases took the hazards out of play. Course required a fair amount of accuracy as most errant shots end up in the desert terrain. Challenging but fair.
Enjoyable round, beautiful fall day. Fairways are forgiving but native areas will beat up your clubs, very rocky.
We got a smoking deal so would have been happy just getting out to play but were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The staff was very nice & the course was in pretty good shape. The conditions of the greens varied from hole to hole but overall were decent.
fast greens!
we einjoyed angel park. Sloping greens meant not hardly a flat putt on the course. The layout was friendly, not typical desert target golf. There were some blind tee shots, so a good yardage book is needed for first time play. Staff was very friendly and genuine. I enjoy the Waters golf course service.
Great fiews of the mountains and was a colorful desert course. the conditions were good to excellent after winter grass was coming in. the greens ro
Was out on business and had a few extra days to play golf, I had played here in the past and it is an enjoyable experience. the staff was friendly and helped us set up our bags on the way in and out. The pro shop was friendly and stocked with some of our needs.
Worth it just for the views
Nice staff. Beautiful surrounding views. Good greens but fairways needed attention. Some challenging holes Overall, a good value.
The course was in great condition and very challenging for 1st time playinf the Palm course. My only complaint was we were stuck behing a 5some??
I used Golf rNow to book and found price was excellent.
Middle of the road course
These two 18-hole courses are very popular in Las Vegas, being frequently voted a favorite. It's probably because it's easy to score well here. Short par 5's, short par 3's and most par 4's are driver, wedge. Reasonably well maintained and not heavily worn. Few holes will remain in your memory, but overall, a reasonable experience.
tuff but managable
great course with some tuff 2cnd shots. The winds were 25+ and that made it even more interesting.I hope to play there again without the wind because its a really beautiful course.
