Las Vegas Golf Club

Played yesterday in the wind. Course is not long , but quite flat . The greens are more of a challenge placed behind bunkers. These are quite slopey with sometimes comical pin positions. The bunkers are solid based with little sand.. Bring your 60 degree wedge ! Off the black tees I could reach the greens in regulation at my age ( over 70 !)

Good course for the regular player and buddies without being overmatched. Nice place to work on your game. Just a nice place to enjoy a round.

Staying in the fairways is key to scoring well as there are well positioned trees that will make scoring tougher when you’re not in the fairway. Great time there...

At 6300 yards from the back it's not a long course but it does have plenty of challenges it you miss the greens on the wrong side. Greens are bent grass and have a lot of breaking putts. Nice open course which helps if you misses a lot of fairways.

There was a 1.5 hour frost delay since I had an early afternoon tee time and would be unable to complete 18 holes due to frost delay I asked for a 9 hole refund. I was informed at the pro shop that the course does not offer a 9 hole rate and that a refund was not possible. I was shocked and disappointed!!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The course and greens were in good condition. Due to the fact they one of the lowest greens fees in town, they were very busy and the pace was quite slow. I signed up as a single but was teamed up with three other golfers. They were a good and pleasant group which made the slow pace of play more enjoyable. I will play this course again.

Overall it was a decent round of golf for the price. The course was in great shape other than the greens which were a little eaten up, even though i’ve played on much worse on other courses around town so I’d give these greens a B-. The only real negative about the course was there seemed to be a ton of beginner golfers on the course which caused for extremely slow play on the back. There were multiple groups waiting for another group to tee off only to have to go find theyre shanked ball for a few minutes. So if you can manage not to play this course on a day that doesn’t consist of slow play it’s worth your time and money.

Started playing this course a few months ago and enjoy the layout and reasonable price. This one guy in the clubhouse always seems to be in a bad mood. FYI

What a great ataff!. For someone playing single on a VIP Hot Deal pass it is a great bargain. Old course and design but greens are similar to all other under $100 Vegas courses (tourists just don't fix ball marks) and afternoons are not too crowded? Nice bar, real grass, not mats, on range.Can't compliment the staff enough?

Forgiving course. Pace of play was extremely slow. Tee time was for 7:52. Started 8:05. Conditions of course were fair. On 16th hole pretty muddy got stuck with golf cart .

They were already 20 minutes behind at 9:30am.

There was no "pace" of play. At one hole, there were 4 groups waiting on the tee. We left after 9 holes and that was 8 holes too late. What a horrible golf experience.

It took almost 3 hrs to play nine holes. On several tees there were 3 four-person groups backed up. Way to many people were jammed on the course.

I was told by friends of mine not to play Las Vegas Country Club. I was told it was always very slow, crowded and in average at best conditions. They were wrong. Play was a little slow but that was only because a lot of the golfers walked, good for them. As far as the conditions the fairways and greens were in great shape. Putted true. I will return to play again.

Course was just over-seeded so carts had to stay on paths. Course was in excellent condition and the pace of play was very good.

It took 6 hours to play the course and the fairways were all dirt.

Hard to critique course as they are closing on 09/23/17 for overseeding.

Usually an OK course.

Due to sun and heat exposure, only two water stations are not enough.
