Greens 8/10 soft smooth and average speed

Fairway 7/10 some dead spots and some unkept areas

Bunkers 5/10 some had water in them. Most had to be raked before you could hit out of them.

Layout 9/10 love this course it’s not overly hard but still very fun and creative. No gimmicky holes.

It’s not the best public golf course in Southern Nevada, but it might be the best conditioned/maintained Course - the new Superintendent has done an incredible job of getting and keeping this course above par. It is worth the drive wherever you live in the Valley.

I was pleasantly surprised with this gem just a short ride away from the Strip. Great condition and nice views. Breezed through the round in the early afternoon as well.

Golf Course is in fantastic condition and one of the best in Southern Nevada under $100 right now. I’m surprised to see so many local courses in awful condition currently, but not Painted Desert - highly recommended for summer 2023.

As the name suggests, this golf course was created in the desert. Well maintained and in very good condition, the course is straightforward and easy to play. Large greens without a lot of undulations lead to a lot of birdies and pars. "BE WARNED" You have to keep it in the grass/fairway. Miss it and you are hitting in the desert dirt with a lot of rocks and pebbles. This can ruin your clubs, not to mention your score.

I live 10 minutes from Painted Desert, but I always seem to run into a problem every time I’m there. For the money you would think they might have 2 things more spaces out tee times, and a MARSHAL! Slow play, OVER a 5 hour round when they tell you it’s wide open is unacceptable! How can you have a 5 hour round when there’s under 10 cars in the parking lot?

Course is not real long but it was a last minute booking and it was fun. Greens were spongy and a little bumpy but not terrible. Different holes which made it fun. Rate was great but I wouldn’t pay full price

Friendly staff,course in very good condition. . The only reason I didn't give it five stars id because of the driving range mats. They need to be replaced ASAP.

The course is in great condition. Greens were solid.

Everything is great except the driving range golf mats.

Always like the layout of the course and it was in Great condition. The only reason 4 stars is that the cart paths are brutal. But, I don’t play off the cart path and the.course was in great shape. Lol.

Had a great time revisiting an older Las Vegas layout. Overall the course itself was in fantastic shape, and being the first time off in the morning lent itself to a rathe enjoyable pace of place with no one in sight (we didn’t rush either). Everyone we encountered was friendly and it has made me want to put this course back into my weekly rotation. Keep up the good work PD…see you again soon!

Staff is friendly course is in good shape. Greens are nice. They could surely use some new hitting mats for the driving range. They're all wore out. Overall it was a very nice fun day.

Did not match rating, more of a muni course, and overpriced for the quality of the course. Tee boxes were terrible along with the bunkers that were filled with rocks mixed in the sand. Driving range was pitiful, mats worn out, had to pay for balls, no tees on the mats. Recommend choosing another course in the area.
