Nice layout. Stay in the fairway!! Waste/desert/waste areas are punishing on equipment

The greens were in great shape. Pin placements were in tough spots. The course is more challenging than it's first appearance. I will go back if for no other reason than to re-test myself. I enjoyed the round.

I greens were fast but fair. The fairways and tee boxes were well maintained.

Fairways are in great shape, same with the greens and we finished in under 4 hours. That's how golf should be.

Great course to play. Some Target golf but fairways are generous enough if you miss them. You can recover. Greens held shots when you hit the green. Putting was a little slow. I would play again.

Staff at the pro shop was not professional. I was early in order to check out lessons and to hit some range balls. I tried to check in twice and he kept telling me to come back later. The second time was 60 minutes ahead of my tee time. He made a reference to me not being a "paying customer" and told me later. I let him know I understood my tee time but if there was any chance of getting off early I'e really appreciate it as 'm a single. He tells me no empty slots. I hang around the shop for 20 minutes or so and then decide to go putt some more. As I go outside I hear the starter talking to a twosome and verifying that they were a twosome. So I go back in and he finally checks me in. Starter then puts me out with that twosome. Come to find out there is another twosome a couple of groups ahead and I could have been out 30 minutes sooner. Exactly when he told me there were no empty slots. No worries, will never be back. Probably 20 rounds with Golf Now and I've never had this kind of a problem. Not sure what his problem was. I was extremely polite and professional the whole time.

The course was recently over-seeded so it was cart path only which is understandable, but it does slow things down a bit. The over-seed went well and the course is and will be in great condition. The greens were currently a bit slow but ran true. I'll will go back.

Liked the layout, but the conditions were not up to what I expected. Lot of weeds in fairways and around the greens. Has potential to be better if they put more effort into maintenance. Enjoyed my round with two locals. No beverage carts either. Good price on GolfNow, but will look for other courses at same price on next visit.

Beautiful horse but I believe upon booking around we should be informed that there will be groups is 6 to 8 and think of us and 40 minutes per hole is a little ridiculous and I would really like my money back I was only able to play for holes I have a wedding to go to In October and I'm not sure we would've finished in time

The course was in pretty good condition considering it was late in the season before overseeding. The bunkers have some of the best sand to hit out of. My only complaint would be the greens are a pretty bumpy. All & all...it is a great value and look forward to my next round .

I was a little disappointed in the shape of the fairways. They were rough and plenty of bald areas. If your ball goes in the ruff it is usually buried due to the grass is not cut well. I liked the layout, but the course needs some TLC. Since I got a hot deal with golf now. The price was right. The staff was friendly and nice clubhouse.

The pace of play was great for our foursome. We were unhappy with the conditions of the course. The fringe was a mess of weeds instead of grass. It looks like they're having problems with the fringe. We did think the greens were in good condition. The fairways are not what Painted Desert used to be. In the future we will not consider Painted Desert in our top selections.

I've played this course hundreds of times and usually enjoy playing here. This is the worst condition the course has ever been in, crab grass everywhere including the greens, dead spots everywhere also. Weeds are everywhere, the golf course is an absolute mess. The great maintenance has disappeared, which is sad! I hope they get it back to normal, but it is going to take some serious TLC.
