Good course and condition
Good overall. Green a little slow.
For price I paid OK
I paid a reduced price and am glad. I would not pay the full rack rate as the course needs work. The fairways were fine but the greens need attention. They were rough and looked to have a disease or various types of grass throughout. The staff was friendly and courteous. The carts were in great shape and the coolers had ice in them for drinks or towels.
Overall I would call it a good course but not worth the $125+ they charge for a standard rate. At $55 to $75 I would call it a fair price.
Great Greens!
Overall experience was very good. Pace of play was a bit slow with 4 hr and 30 minute round. Friendly staff and pleasant time.
dishonesty
i believe the staff at the front counter must be on commision. they will not honor any pricing cofirmed on golf now. and state that they are busy enough.
late start but got 18
We had played the canyons wed and this course was a bit harder in my eyes but very fun to play. The pace was terrible, golfing in mesquite is mostly older people and so they have no concern about pace and clearly the course marshalls accept this. Everyone on the course from the marshalls to the service cart and workers were very nice. We struggled to get 18 but barely made it before dark. Like all desert courses, if you get off the second cut your basically in the desert so keeping the ball in play is critical. I had to put my driver away and use a 3 hybrid and there was much more water than the canyons as well.
I wasn’t sure-
Well it started off pretty rocky- I booked a time over a month ago and drove down from Slat Lake. Got there and was told the shotgun they let out was 5 holes behind and we may not get to play? What!? I was livid. But thankfully the pro shop was good to us and moved us to the canyon. We got paired up with Vic and Ashton who are locals and made our round exceptional! We played the front nine twice so we could get in our 18. We will be back:) thanks again for working with us. My first round with my new hip and I loved it!
Mesquite Golf
Overall the the course was good w/ some dramatic elevation changes. The tees, fairways and greens were over seeded...BUT areas around greens we’re 3” dormant Bermuda and hard pan. Miss a green and good luck getting up & down. Greens were quick, don’t be above the pin w/ a front flag.
Slow play
No course marshal present to monitor the pace of play. Very slow groups held up play, ended up finishing in the dark.
good course
Course condition was good for january golf.
A bit cool some wind and first found of 2022 for me.
