Rancho Del Sol Golf Club

The course is a shadow of its former self. However, the fairways are in decent condition and the greens are great. I think it's priced about right. Worth the trip and somewhat challenging but fair.

Overall course condition is great and glad yardage markers been installed.The green is really in superb condition.

The course was actually in great condition despite all the construction around. The greens were fantastic! The cart paths were mostly dirt which causes too much dust. Players need to have some respect for the course and repair their divots!!

Guess the course opened back up about six weeks ago. Course was in good shape and green. Greens were a little fast and bunkers actually had sand. A little hill hilly for my taste but will definitely play here again. And they have the yardage markers up now.

Course was in beautiful shape. Greens were excellent, smooth and rolled perfectly. Great views from the hilly back nine. Pace of play was great and the staff was excellent. Love this place!

I can’t say enough good things about this course. The views are great, course conditions are good and pricing is very fair. The staff are excellent as well and the course layout (especially the back nine) is just awesome. Highly recommended and now tied with Hemet Golf Club and a CrossCreek as my favorite in the IE.

Played today, Saturday at 8 a.m. and excited to see what has changed at the old Moreno Valley course.

Received my own cart as a single joining a threesome.

Golf shop attendant was polite, asked about range and there is not one. Was told they plan on installing a area to hit balls into a net.

Starter was very accommodating and professional.

Fairways were in decent shape with various lies ranging from very good to marginal.

Greens rolled decently smooth with some pace, players need to repair ball marks.

Layout or this course is great but they still need to improve the overall conditions if possible.

Pace of play crawled to a halt on the 10th hole and waited on every shot thereafter.

Biggest issue is the lack of yardage markers , especially on the par 3's where they were non existent. The Par 3's have elevation changes were it is crucial to have a tee marker at the very least. No GPS on carts yet and not sure if that is in the works.

Overall, a challenging course that needs a bit more TLC.

I love the course, but 5 hour rounds are too hard to take.

The marshal did nothing - even scolded us for not playing earlier if we were in such a hurry. Honestly, 5 hours!

Challenging course. Not for beginners. Course management is key here. Your putter skills will be put to the test. This course will expose your weaknesses, so be ready because there is no range.

Very hot day but love the layout and views. I will definitely make the drive again to play the course.

Course is fun to play. Great staffs at site. Need to mention Joshua, one of the marshalls, trying hard to make your round as relax as possible. Thumbs up.

Rode the Blues (6130/71.0/130) in slightly over 4H twilight with Ron. Thanks to John for setting up and to Rancho del Sol for having the guru group out. We waited nearly every shot the last dozen or so holes, playing behind slower groups. Overcast, muggy, breezy and around 95.

Bermuda tees more thin than lush but good coverage. Especially the par 3's were chewed up. They had a person working on tee divots as we played.

Bermuda fairways had good coverage, semi lush and decent to play from. Parts were soft from over watering, other parts firm with tight lies, especially on downhill shots. We had a couple of balls in the fairway we almost lost because they plugged.

Rough was a mixture of grasses. Mostly mowed down and your lie could range from sitting up to terrible in a small area.

Traps had decent sand but were poorly maintained even considering COVID protocols. They definitely were not raked recently.

Greens were spongy and soft, they had more than their share of ball marks. But they rolled smooth and medium to medium fast speed otherwise.

Very courteous staff. Quick efficient check in, and the starter was doing what he could to keep things moving. Basic carts do not have GPS, which is a detriment on a hilly Dye layout. Nice putting green that was very comparable to the on course greens. Recommended.
