Shenvalee Golf Resort - Creek/Miller

Our twosome played here Saturday to some sad ground conditions; crabgrass, dirt patches and brown splotches. I know this course favors locals but it really needs some attention on the fairways. The vistas are fantastic but the rest was disappointing-

This was a very good golf experience. The only reason I rated the course as good instead of excellent was the fact that due to the current drought, the fairway grass is very thin and sparse. The greens, however, are some of the nicest the in Shenahdoah valley area. They roll true and are simply in excellent condition. The staff was friendly as always. A great value and course.

Best course I've ever played value wise. Not just in the valley but everywhere. It's a beautiful course in good shape all the time and not expensive. 27 holes offers a variety to change it up every round and it's a simple layout. Some challenging shots but can also be easy and good for practice if you are playing well. Shot a 67 here when I'm usually around a 79.

Quietly always in shape, greens are some of the truest in the valley. Very playable course and fun to play different versions of the 27 available.

This is my all time favorite course. Well maintained! Love to play the Olde to Creek. Its challenging, but fun. Great staff.

Brought a friend for a first time visit. He loved the course. He already mentioned wanting to revisit. Conditions and layout was a factor for enjoyment. Looking forward to our next round there!!

Course is old style with 3 9 holes, played same ones as Monday. Grounds need some work but are in fair to good shape. Labeling is poor and score card does not give layout. Got misplaced 2X on 1st round. Tee placements were good flow of the course was very good. Will play again if in area, was very good value.

This is my home course and I'm getting better playing there. It has Beautiful mountain scenery and yesterday I saw at least a dozen deer roaming the fairways!

Miserably hot day even Teeing off at 8:15. Course conditions were very good - fairways, bunkers, traps all good. Most players appear to be fixing ball marks on greens. Greens very receptive to wedge shots. First par 3 is a bit shaky with a house about 20 yards directly behind the green. At about 175 yards, it is in play. Number 8 - par 5 - is most challenging. Blind tee shot into a valley- can’t see where lands or rolls to. second shot looks to be a lay up at the bottom of the valley ( or you can try clear small creek at bottom) and then up the hill - about 110/ 120 - but 2 club difference in yardage due to elevation change. But good test - I’ll be back.

Played this course for the first time and it was one of the nicest courses I have ever played on. All the holes were fair and not to hard but still challenging for players of all kind! Only down side was the pace of play. I went out as a solo and breezed through the first few holes very easily. Then I got stuck behind two four somes that slowed the pace a little bit but not awful! All in all, I had a great first experience at this golf course and I will definitely be back very soon! Very professional and courtesy workers as well!

Played 18 holes for twenty dollars. All new carts I’ve played here for years now and the best the greens have ever looked and firm broke my plastic divot tool

Excellent course! Challenging but extremely fair.

Shenvalee is my personal favorite course to play. Well maintained and overall fun course. Creek course offers nice views as well as some interesting challenges. Old course is short but narrow. Expect to hit a tree or 2...if you play like me. Miller is the toughest course. My favorite combo is Creek to Miller. Hit the Miller grill when you're done. Great fried chicken and burgers.
