We have played this course many time and I have never seen it in such poor condition. The fairways are patchy at the best spots, better to actually be where the rough should be because your ball may find some grass instead of a dead or bare area in the fairway. There is dirt everywhere, the bunkers are inconsistent, some have no sand and haven’t been raked or maintained, yet others are still pretty good. It’s a shame because I we played here at the beginning of season, and it was in really good shape.
Not recommended
Course is in rough shape and not good value for the money. Much nicer courses for less money and similar courses for much less.

Play like a poorly conditioned muni course, no 100 dollar course
The course plays fairly easy and is fairly flat. There is no driving range, only a cage to warm up, The course does not have the kitchen open until 11am, there are sandwiches ready and a few things but not much. The carts do not have GPS. Finding yardage was not marked that well and difficult to get. It winds between and is surrounded by houses and has a weird feel to it.. The condition of the course and fairways are poor. The greens roll okay and are somewhat difficult to read. This feels like a poorly kept muni-course and worth about 25-35 dollars. The best part of it was the french fries and road runner sandwich.

Subpar course
The condition of the course, with 4 of the first 6 holes looked like they had just been seeded. Very little grass to speak of; the fairways are patchy and hard; there is no attendant to direct you to the first tee from the clubhouse.and no beverage cart service.

Seen better days
I like this track well enough, but it seems to be in decline. The fairways and teeboxes were scruffier than usual and greens were super firm causing most shots to carom through. With the hot deal I paid $70, which is a decent price in peak season, but I left thinking $100 is crazy for what you get. And what you don’t get.

Enjoyable outing.
We played Christmas Day and we were pleasantly surprised. We had never played here before and now I don’t know why. We’re locals and have golfed at a wide variety of local courses. Not all amenities were available due to it being Christmas Day, but that’s understandable. The staff was friendly and helpful, the course was forgiving for average golfers like us, and the pace was perfect. We had an awesome day! We will definitely be back!

Average course

Budget Course with Friendly Staff
The staff are great, everyone was really friendly. There was hardly anyone out when we played so it was lightning fast. I had intended to book Palm Desert Resort and Country Club and accidentally booked this instead. This course is in pretty rough shape. Lots of dirt and yellow grass. The tee markers look like plastic cups. The houses on the course are run down. This is the cheapest course in the area but it’s still painful to pay 100 bucks for a course that isn’t beautifully kept.

Worst golf experience. Horrible staff
By far one of the worst experiences at a golf course. Was hassled on every other hole by the Marshall yelling at us to pick up the pace. The cart girl ignored us when we asked for water and just drove off telling us we needed to play faster. We finished a 4 hour round (well ahead of proper pace of play). Entire staff was very disrespectful for an overpriced under kept course. Pro shop guy with the Mohawk was the only respectful staff. Lazy course 100% do not recommend. Let the old trailer park members play this course alone.

Good layout
Course is not the most pristine, however, greens were very good and fast. Layout was interesting, not just up and back in a subdivision. good use of water and interesting turns and twists. We played with someone who had been there before and it really helped. We had played the Gary Player course a couple of days before and found the Palm Desert layout more fun and interesting. Will play it again

Best option
I was looking for a decent course at a value in Palm Desert area. I visited and had lunch in the restaurant/bar while assessing the course best I could. I was sold and pleased with the choice. Course feels like a high-end muni with good greens, average fairways with lots of fairway and green side bunkers. Bunkers need a refresh of sand that looked like in progress. Enjoyable round with not a lot of challenge but good old school golf.
