About
Originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., Apollo Beach Golf Club features large, well- bunkered greens and long tee boxes with generous fairways. The course is designed around many small lakes and inlets that dominate the landscape, bringing water into play on every hole. One trip around the layout and you will know that there are all sorts of unseen challenges awaiting golfers of all skill levels. The snack bar/restaurant offers home cooked breakfasts and lunches featuring specials daily.

Greens were smooth and consistant
I saw a review from a short time ago that said the greens were slow and bumpy..........Totally NOT the case now. Greens were very good. Course a bit wet bit was very playable.....Water on many holes...........Will play again!

Worst condition
Course was in horrible condition. Fairways looked like a cow pasture and the rough matches. You will loose the ball in the rough unless you are standing directly over the top of it. It’s wet and muddy all over the course. Too many seniors playing and took too long. There were multiple holes that were under water and cut into half. I wouldn’t play this course for free, let alone pay any amount.

It was ok
The layout is nice but the course needs some t.l.c.There were certain parts of the course that were 4 star worthy but just not very consistent. Staff very friendly and safe with everything going on with Covid.

Great Layout, give it some time to dry up.
We played this course for the first time today really excited for the trip from St Pete, and were pleasantly surprised upon driving up. Friendly staff and one of the best greens in the area. We knew the rain recently could be an issue, and sure enough the back nine was practically flooded. I’ll definitely go back but probably wait a little bit for it to dry up.

Nearby, play here often
I play here multiple times a month, sometimes once a week. The course conditions currently are good. It has been in better shape and it has been in worse shape.
The range has not been open since March/April, so that is still a bummer.
There is water on every hole to some extent as well as fairway and green side bunkers.
I enjoy playing here, weekends can get crowded like pretty much any course around here. But pace is usually ok - for the most part.

An average muni
The tees are well marked. No divot mix on the carts. The greens are slow and bumpy. The staff are friendly and courteous.Not so sure about the cleanliness/virus safety of the carts. I wouldn't waste my time playing here again.
