About
Originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., Apollo Beach Golf Club features large, well- bunkered greens and long tee boxes with generous fairways. The course is designed around many small lakes and inlets that dominate the landscape, bringing water into play on every hole. One trip around the layout and you will know that there are all sorts of unseen challenges awaiting golfers of all skill levels. The snack bar/restaurant offers home cooked breakfasts and lunches featuring specials daily.

Has tons of potential
This should be a great course. Famous designer. Great layout and landscaping. Problem is it is terribly maintained. The greens were great but the fairways were worse than a football field after a full season. Dirt and gravel was more prevalent than grass on some holes. Even the grass there was was dry and crunchy other than the greens.
Slow play and lawnmowers
If you want to be distracted by lawn mowers and have 3 (4) somes on one hole for back ups, then this is the spot for you. Horrible will never go back!!!!!!

Great golf course
I had a great time, the course is in great condition with the exception of a few holes,
the greens are in great condition.

Good Course
We had a wonderful time playing this course today.
The pace was great.
We had 4 people in our group.
I enjoyed so much me and another player played another 9 holes.

First time playing this course....
And I have to admit I am super happy with it! I drove up from Bradenton and it was well worth the money and the drive. The greens were a little bit bumpy but I can easily overlook that. The pro-shop staff were great, the concession stand people were also very nice! I will definitely be back!

Good day
My wife and enjoyed nine holes and played ok not our best.
It was backed up starting on the front nine. We both pared the first and moving over to the second hole the threesome in front of us were still waiting to tee off.
After waiting for eight minutes we drove over to ten and were able to play in normal pace of play.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Cow Pasture
The layout is excellent. Too bad they don’t take care of this course. The only good grass was on the partially covered ,extremely bumpy greens. The fairways were bare.

Oh my God!
They have given up on this course. Bunkers full of weeds, greens have not been rolled , tee boxes are sand and weeds.
Worst golf course that accepts money, better put rips people off.
Check in person has the personality of a prison guard.
CLOSE THIS GOLF COURSE! Stop ripping the public off.

Nice fun track
Only gripe is the greens were bumpy and not a little bumpy but bumpy. I hit it close all day but those greens were hit and miss ROLL those puppies so I can roll the rock

How did this course get a 4 star rating
Got there 8 minutes before tee time
My threesome was sent out early
Caught up and preceded to wait.....
At the end of 9holes my “group” decided” to have lunch...huh??
So I went ahead as a single
Never saw them again
Course was in lousy condition
Never saw a ranger
The guy working the desk in pro shop never even looked at me..
Oh well..$26 and an afternoon wasted

The course was in good playing condition and greens were true.
