About
Rosedale is a true challenge with its great layout that winds through naturally wooded terrain, verdant environmental preserves and shimmering lakes. Each hole presents a new look and a different challenge. Fairways are beautifully maintained and can be tight. Designed by Ted McAnlis, Rosedale features his trademarks: rolling hills, spacious greens and island tee boxes. There are several holes where you'll feel completely alone among nature's splendor with nothing to disrupt the lush, native flora and fauna. This course will bring out your best and provide the setting for a memorable golf experience.

Friendly staff, great pace of play. 4 hour round with 4 players. Course is very tight but fair. Requires good course management. Greens are really fast. Great day overall.
Pristine
As always, best maintained Public access course in the area. From tee to green, simply lush. Bunkers are groomed, Greens are perfect, and players here actually fill their divots!! Unfortunately, pace was quite slow. 2 groups in front of us was a foursome that held up the entire course. The 4some of women immediately in front of us packed it in after #12 (Happy Hour!!), and we waited on every shot. Cart guy at end said they were told 3 times to pick up pace.....but a ranger should have moved them up the 4 holes they were behind. Thankfully, it was a beautiful day, so we survived!!!

From tee to green, like always, simply pristine.
1 or 2 greens had a spot or 2, with some Summer grass starting to come in, but course is lush & perfect. Bunkers have great sand, & greens are slick & true. Still my favorite course in the Sarasota area. Not the longest out there, but accuracy is a must!! Great track with super friendly staff.
Nice venue
Great layout. Played after heavy rain, cart path only. Can't rate pace of play because there was only one other single in front of myself.
Fairways and tee boxes nice. Greens were fast but and little bumpy, not from ball marks. Worst putting I can remember.

Hadn’t played Rosedale in a couple of years
Rates have sky rocketed but a hot deal got us to the course for Under a $100
Rack rate does become more reasonable btw in April
The course is outstanding
Plenty of water , GPS on the carts, excellent practice area
Slicers beware
Wonderful golf course. Lush grass in the fairways and the greens were fast and true. Course is tight but fair. You better hit it straight. Staff was very friendly.
Great value
We enjoyed our round as well as the practice facilities. Free range balls and chipping & putting area. Friendly staff too. Course is in great shape but a lot of water. We did not take advantage of the 19th hole afterwards.
Great condition.
Rosedale is a much tighter course than those in the area. Tree lined fairways require a solid tee shot. The fairways and rough are excellent not your average Bermuda grass. I really enjoyed my round there. Staff were great too.

great day, greens were fast and steady, fairways and tee boxes in excellent conditions, course very manicured, Rosedale was the star of the day. Can not wait to come back.

Course is in great condition. However greens were rock hard and more like a pool table. Hard to hold the green.
