About
River Run Golf Links is a municipal course owned by the city of Bradenton. Unlike many others in the area, golfers won't have to worry about hitting homes on this non-residential course. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but it's also a fair test that is anything but boring. The two nines are referred to as the River Nine, the front, and the Pirate nine. The golf course is mostly straightforward and a pleasure to walk, although there are carts available. Ancient oak trees draped with Spanish moss provide shade and scenery throughout the course. Water has a prominent presence, coming into play on almost every hole. Some of the holes are tight and can be quite challenging but beginners can still approach River Run Golf Links with confidence.

Great Experience
What a great public golf course! Conditions were fantastic, greens rolled nice, not fast, not slow. Fairways and rough both as nice as the weather allows. Their bunkers are manicured and fluffy, by far the best I’ve played down in this area. Interesting holes, some very scenic. I will play here any chance I get. Keep it up.

It's time to smarten up the young ones...
The course is in great shape. The problem I have is with slow not caring what's behind them older players who just wander off the green, knowing there are people waiting and not caring. And then behind us we had a threesome who kept sending balls our way on the fairway until we corrected them on the 18th. One ball came extremely close to us and because of that I sent to drive midfairway not knowing that the ball came from them and almost hit my partner. Dangerous games these fools play. They need to be corralled
Nice Course
Nice enjoyable golf course, but not perfect. Great value.
Beautiful Course
Love the layout and conditions are well maintained. Out 9 was tedious as the foursome in front of us was playing extremely slow spending a lot of time looking for their balls. Feel they might’ve been new to golfing as they never offered to let our threesome play through, In 9 was much better!
Improvements, many improvements
This is a well kept golf course with constant improvements being made. I love playing here. Lots of hard work is evident.

The course
The course is well kept and the design is inviting for all levels of play. Staff getting on the course were very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind that the last 2 Hurricanes that caused havoc for the local courses the people of FL persevered in getting this course back to play.

Greens are not good, fairways as expected. Extremely friendly staff.
