About
River Run Golf Links is a municipal course owned by the city of Bradenton. Unlike many others in the area, golfers won't have to worry about hitting homes on this non-residential course. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but it's also a fair test that is anything but boring. The two nines are referred to as the River Nine, the front, and the Pirate nine. The golf course is mostly straightforward and a pleasure to walk, although there are carts available. Ancient oak trees draped with Spanish moss provide shade and scenery throughout the course. Water has a prominent presence, coming into play on almost every hole. Some of the holes are tight and can be quite challenging but beginners can still approach River Run Golf Links with confidence.

Awesome Maintained Course
We have played this course numerous times making it worth the drive from Saint Petersburg. Staff always friendly with well maintained course!
No time limit on 9 holers
They need to stop 9 holers after 8am.
They slow the pace after the turn. All the groups that teed off at 7 to 8 am will get bunched up at the 10th. Now your Saturday round of golf just turned into a 5 hour round. Plus there's NO ranger to speed up the play.

Always enjoy this course. Staff are friendly. Never had an issue playing this course
Decent course, decent price
Played here many times over the years and a I would say that it's in decent condition and a bit dryer than usual with no wet soggy patches on some fairways. Greens and tees are decent condition. It's no Augusta but it's a decent public course with a good layout at a decent price.
nice muni course
nice muni course, staff was very friendly. good value for the price I paid. greens were good but, there were some very wet and muddy areas in the fairways. overall, a nice muni track.
Nice Muni course
River Run was a nice Muni course for price. The staff was very friendly. The greens were consistent and the lies in the fairways were generally good. There were some wet areas on the course even though we hadn’t had any rain over the previous week or so. The pace of play was a little slow. I’m not sure if that’s the usual pace of play or if we were just behind a couple of slow groups. Overall, an enjoyable round.
Sunday afternoon slow play
Beautiful day not hot pleasant weather. Set up tee with GN 2 pm plenty of open times however slow play made it a 5 hr round. No Marshalls no starter Course got extremely backed up Hard to get a quick round in However I’ll be back nice course
River run
Course was in good condition, fairways a little dry
Great Time
Got paired up with one of the staff members (John) he was a hoot to have in our group and we had a fantastic time.
