Impressive 1st round
I played this course for the first time, the course itself was very good. It's something different from the other US courses those are mostly very flat that gives players less challenging, but it's some hilly with waters... enjoyed so much! Really want to play again shortly with friends.
Summer play
The course was in excellent shape. The fairway and the green looked great and felt good. The pace was a little slow, but it picked up and the round went smoothly.
Nice course
Nice course first time playing. Greens were super but tricky, always try to stay under the hole. Glad I played with people that knew the course. Great pace for a Sunday though course was packed. Will definitely play again.
Great condition
Course was in great condition!! Staff friendly as normal. Was the first hot day in the 80s but not too bad. Booked as a single and ended up playing with another 3 some. Pace of play was pretty decent, looked like a league was teeing off as we were finishing 9. Very pleased with how far this course has come. Always a fun track.
Solid Public Course
I had some time to kill on a recent May afternoon and there happened to be an opening for 9 holes around 2 pm. The course is fairly hilly, and the greens have a fair amount of undulation, so there really are no true gimmes!
The overall condition at my time of play was about a 7 out of 10. I’d imagine the greens had been aerated maybe about 3-4 weeks prior, so they were at about 90% back to normal.
The majority of the tee boxes were in good to great condition, and about 2 or 3 are fairly worn from lots of public play.
The staff was incredible, the gent in the proshop gave me a solid rundown of what to expect on the course, which I really appreciated.
Overall I really enjoyed my walking round of 9 and definitely plan to come back and play it all the way through sometime.
A solid 4 out of 5 for a public course, and the price is totally reasonable for what you get!
