Whispering Pines Golf Course

Very nice course, compares to many of the Myrtle Beach courses at much lower price.

Terrible pace of play even before 8am.

If you want rangers to allow folks to hit 3-4 tee balls and then allow groups ahead of you to steal your ball when you can’t see them and accidentally hit a tee shot into them.

This course isn’t worth the names that designed it and I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste money when the rangers don’t regulate a thing here.

I understand the rule that as a party of two we cannot object to being paired up with another person/persons. This doesn't always work out for the good! My brother and I were paired up to play with one of the most ignorant, prejudice, fowl mouthed Southern redneck I have ever met in my life. Needless to say this person made it very difficult to enjoy our round of golf. Don't know what if anything we could have done about this situation. My brother did inform the starter after our game but it's a little too late by then.

This beautiful course is a real pleasure to play. It's well-maintained, both the fairways and the greens. It's challenging in places. Water hazards abound. What makes this course friendly for all genders is the strategically-located and very clean restroom building. The heat was oppressive during our round, but water on the course and with the roving cart made it much easier to play. This is one of my favorite Myrtle Beach courses.

It was perfect for my wife and I only issue we had a 3:40 T Time and the carts had to be back at 730pm we didn’t get to finish 18 holes got to 15. Wish someone would of told us that before spending over a 100 bucks to play.

Place is a dump and the majority of the greens are crappy .I wouldn’t waste another golf outing at this place .

Don’t be hungry at the turn! If you are, bring your own hot dog… 4 dollar hot dog is outrageous!!!!!!!! Course was fine, greens were rough

The only negative today was the condition of a few greens that had some bare spots and patched repairs. Other than that the course offered enough challenge and overall good conditions.

Great course, friendly staff. Was double charged through the Golf Now app and still waiting for that charged to be resolved.

The recent negative reviews by others are very unfair and rather unrealistic. For the money and recognition that beginners play this course, the course is very nice. The greens have some challenges but overall, you will be pleased with the experience. Play it. I like the simplicity of this place.

The course layout is flawless...the fairways where in great shape...the greens on the other hand was terrible, not all but must. From sand to dead spots and even dead sod that was treated correctly. This course has the potential to be a 10 course in area in my opinion, once those greens are taken care of. Clubhouse staff was great even though they shutdown the grill around 10am due to a staff member leaving early.

Had high hopes for this course. Staff was so rude. Gene was super miserable behind the counter. We ended up quitting after 11 holes because we would have been there for over 6 hours playing 18.

Greens were the WORST I’ve ever played. Stay away

Greens were in horrible condition. Absolutely worst greens i ever played. Decent course otherwise.
