Some interesting holes on this course
All in all I enjoyed this course. Pace of play was really slow , due to a guy in a wheel chair playing 2 holes ahead of us. Luckily they only played nine holes and pace picked up rather nice afterwards. Course was in good shape ...greens on the quick side. Playing the course for the first time ,I didn't know the layout. I found it a must to check the map on the hole markers. One par 5 on the back had the strangest layout. I read the map and was still confused. Made it interesting for sure.Had a hood time ...
Great course
We had a great round. Very challenging! Course conditions were excellent for this time of year.
Great value for $
Kudos to the Marshall
Many courses have Marshall’s and from my experience, many don’t do that much on the course to move play along.
However, this one did by making a painfully slow group ahead of us skip some holes so that pace of play could get back on track! Thank you!! Had you not done so, I likely would have quit at nine.
Off the plane
Great staff, good rate and great convenience right off the plane ride
Good course. Not extremly difficult but lots of water holes and an excellent location.
Wolves and Sheep
Booked this round online expecting to pay the invoice price. When we got to the pro shop they added a local tax to the round of an extra $6.00 per player, If you are a tourist they hit you with a out of state tax. This is reminder that when you're the sheep and local wolves take a vote on whats for dinner..... It's you. The employees there are grumpy ( cause they work for the County) go figger. We have played at privately own courses and the employees are friendly and helpful.
Just talking to a brick wall, but please, next time you think that a goverment has a solution to a problem. think about the misery that the solution will cause others. good course, good weather, sad employees,
Good value course
Staff was friendly and pace of place was great for our group of 2. Course was in decent shape. Greens rolled pretty well. This course was really close to our hotel so we figured we would give it a shot and we were both glad we did. You may lose some balls if you struggle to find fairways off the tee but at least you won’t hit somebody’s house or cars. Plenty of places to pee in the woods along the course if you have a few too many beers
Know your golfers!!
We played this course on the last day of our trip south. The front 9 was very, very slow with a senior couple and an inexperienced couple. We waited on every hole to play and then when we finished the 9th - the Marshall said to us “ you are behind schedule pick up the pace of play”. I’m not sure if it was because we were 4 women OR if he thought we were slowing everything down BUT we were not happy. The group ahead of us quit after 9 holes and surprise, surprise - we finished the back 9 in 1 hour and 40 minutes - not bad for 4 women!! Respect and an apology would have been nice!!
