Below average should be a $25 course
Tourist trap course not worth the price and also was told by starter I paid the same and supposedly was a hot deal on golf now very disappointed bunkers were garbage and the greens were aerated need to also focus on the tee box conditions
Whispering pines review
The course was tough. There was a lot of water and the woods hugged the fairway. Great challenge for low handicap golfers but punishing to higher handicaps
Trash course
Greens were aerated had no clue of this otherwise I wouldn’t have played. Bad experience pro shop was filled with jerks.
Not good
The pro was a jerk. Greens were aerated so it was bad as is. On top of that he was very rude.
Areratio of greens
Love the layout of this course. Very challenging. Should always pick up after two putts on the greens.
Course is in good condition minus a few spots on greens. It’s a tight layout but nothing unfair. Higher handicap golfers may lose a lot of balls.
So many reasons to not go back
It wasn’t an option in the choices, but I would have given this course a A for consistency. Unfortunately for me, the awful experience began well before the first tee. The staff was at best unfriendly, and at worst disrespectful. That, combined with the generally poor conditions really made for a poor experience. After having such a great experience at the first course we played that day, we booked a tee time late in the day, and tried to save a few bucks. This was truly a “you get what you pay for course.” I would not recommend this course.
Fun
We had a pretty good time. The course was in good shape.
Review
Great course. Couple holes tough but not impossible. Condition was great. Play it again anytime.
Great local course
Staff is awesome. Andy the starter is great to talk with about anything. Course was in good shape. Back nine more challenging then the front. Lots of water. More challenging then it may appear. Have fun!
