Diamondback
The golf course was nice except the rough was very rough. If you hit a ball in the rough, you couldn’t find your ball.
Great course
Course is in great shape. Just be sure and keep it in the fairway. Rough is brutal. At least a shot and a half penalty. Greens putted excellent. Staff very accommodating. Overall a good time.
We had five golfers. Four of us payed with a credit card and got a receipt. The fifth paid cash and did not get a receipt. They came out on the course and claimed that we only paid for four people. I was there when our guy paid with cash. They still said we owed for one. Reluctantly we paid, but will not be going back. Also rough was so long, several time we couldn’t even find our balls because they sunk down in so far. These were just off the fairway. I would not recommend this course.
Tough and narrow layout. Great value though
I have driven by this course so many times and never stopped. I got a deal 1/3 the price of other courses in the area so I couldn't pass it up. I played as a solo, but ended up catching up to two members on hole 6. Very nice guys. A few dog legs and force layup holes... This course can be very challenging, but long hitter can use irons and hybrids to avoid wayward shots. Looking forward to going back soon
Still One of The Best Secrets
Diamondback never disappoints. Mr Pat is amazing. We enjoyed ourselves and the weather was perfect.
First round
Easily one of my most enjoyable rounds of golf. Would recommend this course to anyone who wants a great experience. Will definitely play again.
Great Staff!
The manager Patrick and his staff are absolute heroes. Nothing is left to chance and you will always be well taken care of. From check in to tee off, everything is super easy and free range balls are set up and waiting if you arrive early. Course was in great shape, except the second fairway cut. The cut was much higher for Bermuda grass, so keep the balls out of that stuff until cooler weather when it should be cut lower. Beautiful views and wildlife abound. The entire course is peaceful and houses aren’t seen until the back nine. I always enjoy this course!
Fun day
Fun course with tight fairways. Pace of play was slow but seems to be the norm this time of year. Greens were in great shape, slow but true. Big mouth local insisted we show respect to his course. What an a-hole… besides him was fun time.
Terrible conditions
Greens extremely slow. Lots of ground under repair. Left after 5 holes. Told them and they refused to give our money back. Will never go there again!
Terrible
The greens were slower than mallasis. Under repair everywhere. Left after the first hole. Never again!!
Hard to beat
Played as a twosome in three hours. The condition of the course is fantastic, with the greens being a little slower than normal. However, they were full and holding very well. The fairways were in great shape, along with the tees. The course is a fun layout that requires a lot of shot placement and minimal drivers off the tees. There are a lot of penalty areas that are in play throughout. It is a very enjoyable course with fewer crowds compared to the courses on the strand.
