About
The 18-hole Diamondback Golf Course (previously known as Diamond Back at Woodland Valley Country Club) in Loris, SC is a Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda golf course that opened in 1999. Diamondback Golf Course was designed by Russell Breeden. The greens are Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda and the fairways are bermuda.
This modern Russell Breeden design is surrounded by unspoiled natural wetlands and lowcountry forest. Diamondback Golf Course is the first course on the Grand Strand to offer Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda greens. Strategically placed bunkers and lakes allow for a challenging round of golf that will make you return year after year

TUFF DAY
Need to be a more advanced player than myself. Course built for more accurate players, a lot of protected greens. It was fun till it’s wasn’t anymore. Did not search for any balls outside of fairway.. afraid of snakes. The old bridges were cool and small ponds seem like I’d see a gator any minute.It’s was a beautiful day for golfing.
Great Course
Can’t really think of any negatives other than the drive from my house. It’s an inland course so plan on driving time. If you want to know where the locals play, you have found it. Great course, well maintained and the staff are super nice. There are a lot of local leagues and member’s tournaments so call ahead to check on tee times before randomly selecting a day on the app. Great little community course!
Beautifull lay-out and rough is the challange
I loved the lay-out of the course and foundation the rough challanging. The grens were in good condition
Challenging course
A challenging course. Course was in great shape except for the length of the Bermuda grass off of the fairways. It was cut high and if you weren’t on the fairway there was trouble finding your ball. Other than that, everything was great. I would play her again.

Nice course it had a high school event right before our tee time. Slow day as it took us 6 hours to play
