Average
Nice layout with generous landing areas. Fairways were just average with a lot of rough spots. Greens were pretty decent. Bunkers had a lot of rocks. Fun to play. Pace of play was not well managed. Three groups on one of the par 3’s. Ok but overpriced for the quality.

Staff works hard to make your day enjoyable
I arrived on Easter as a single and the staff went out of their way to make sure it was very enjoyable. They had 4-some after 4 some on the tee sheet and there were no 2 or 3 somes a single could join. I was going to be a single in the middle of a bunch of foursomes. The outside staff made it there mission to pair me up with someone. I had a very enjoyable day with another 2-some that was able to play early with me. For the money this course was in great condition. I would play here again for the price. I will also return cause of the staff making it an effort to make me feel welcome.

Great round
Course was in great condition. Greens are in perfect shape and the staff was friendly. Only knock was that pace of play was over 4.5 hours long which seems long given most of the snowbirds are gone. There is no true starter and there were many groups on the tee to sort of regulate themselves. Won’t be an issue in a month once less players go out. Felt bad for the twosome behind us stuck in front of many foursomes. Even though there was a wait on every hole I had a great time shooting a 74

Worth the drive
Duke is a course all can play but offers a challenge to advanced golfers as well. Very good conditions on tees, greens and fairways. A few holes with water are very scenic.

Don't Overlook This Course
This was a fantastic course! It winds through residential but you never feel close to the houses. Conditions were great and pace of play was fantastic. Well worth the drive from Phoenix.

Still a ways to go before I can recommend
If the course had ample water it would be a great track. Bunkers are horrible. Hard pan in bunkers and LOTS of rocks. Greens need a bit more water. I realize water is hard to come by in AZ, but that’s the reality.
