Brooksville Country Club

It's not great but it's not good. Love the two or three quarry holes. But the rest is average below average. The worst part about the whole place??? You're constantly losing balls because they have the grass too high right off the fairway. Very annoying. Those people that live out there it's great for them but I'm from Orlando I have a lot more choices.

This purse has a nice layout. Some of the quarry holes are hard for older people, because of the steep steps going down to the green and going back up to cart path. The course needs watering

there are a few inteesting Quarry holes. but the rest is unkept. u get what u pay for. hole 18 still flooded. Black Diamond Ranch would be better but it costs a LOT more.

Great except for very slow play that should be monitored.

Glad to see they are starting to cut the rough,it has been so easy to lose your ball just off the fairway!

Course was almost unplayable, in my opinion. I have never played here before and understand there was a hurricane recently, but if you have that much trouble finding a ball 2 feet off the fairway it isn’t worth it. Tee boxes were rough and half the greens were as well. The price is good for the time of year, but definitely not worth more than a 20 minute drive.

I love this course but right now # 18 is not the same because of the lake that got a lot bigger from the hurricane. It will be back to normal soon not soon enough I think I am going to have to wait for about a month before I will play it again

I love playing at Brooksville Country Club. They offer challenging holes that also make you feel like you are not in Florida. We played on a windy day so it made it a little bit more challenging as well but we are always up for that. The hurricanes definitely had an affect on the course. I still am not that good at golf so just a heads up if you hit it in the rough keep your eye on where because the branches and moss on the floor the golf balls are hard to find! Also hole 18 is flooded so they have a temporary green! I would still go back and play this course tomorrow though just because it's such a great course!

This is a well designed course and love playing especially the back 9 at this course. However the rough was brutal and they probably haven't cut the rough in weeks. I lost too many balls in the rough as the grass was up to my lower ankles, please mow the rough each week.

I always enjoy playing here. Pace was great. I Love the challenge of the hills and valleys. The course is in pretty good condition. It’s not like the normal flat courses in Florida. I would definitely recommend playing here.

My round was ruined by a maintenance worker who was cutting the grass, he has a white beard, probably 45-50 years old. On the back nine he followed me to 4 holes cutting grass right next to me while I was hitting the ball. On one hole he came within 5 feet of me to cut grass while I was on the putting green, I have never seen such disrespect for a customer. I did nothing to anger him but he ruined the day for me, I don't think I will return.

I'm an old Floridian and love old Florida courses. No homes, just lots of trees. Some of the drives are really fun.

The course does need a little love and care but I don’t know if there’s a more fun back 9 anywhere close by.
