Brooksville Country Club

I think they are getting the course better and better every time I play it In the last three years the course has improved 300% I love playing this course And the staff are the best.

If you want a taste of the Black Diamond "quarry experience", visit Brooksville Country Club. There are only four quarry holes but you will know you played them climbing in and out.

Beautiful course! The back 9 was gorgeous with some challenging holes. I live in the Tampa Bay Area but at times I thought I was on vacation somewhere else. Very nice rolling hills and canyons in an old rock quarry. Very nice! Will play there again for sure!

We were overall very disappointed in this course. The greens were mostly fine but fairways were rough and it looked like a lot of erosion had taken place on back nine.

This course is not great condition by no means. Some greens very good, some greens have such huge spots that are dead or fungus they may lose some of them. The greens are also super slow- prob a 8 at best. Fairways are decent. Rough ok. Three great holes in the quarry. The rest of the course is just ok. It’s a decent value under $50 in the winter- summer more like $25. Staff courteous.

The course is fun to play and the conditions of the fairways and greens have improved in the last month. Slower greens but rolled very smooth. Fun to play and will play again. Quarry is beyond cool.

Back 9 was everything I was told it would be. Very scenic.

I asked the staff if they would still be open at 6 when we finished so we could buy some things. We arrived back at 6:01 and even skipped a hole and no one was in the club house

Fairways to hard, traps were dirt and greens were average v

I did not enjoy my round at Brooksville and one of the reasons was the leaves everywhere.It made it very difficult to find our balls thus slowing down the pace of play. Grass is very scarce on the fairways. Greens were just ok. What saved the day were the 3 or 4 holes on the second 9 where there are trenches and valleys. No ranger on course group in front of us finished the last 2 or 3 holes playing 8.

From Sam & Kelly in the shop, to the laid back, low ego & funny company you’ll find on the course, Brooksville CC is a course worth sticking on the list if you are within 1 hour with your golf clubs.

The undulations flirt with you on the front nine, with the back nine taking it into bucket list golf.

Don’t worry about if you’re not with your buddies, the members are brilliant hosts and take good care of guests to help you make memories, with tips on distances and wind adjustments being key!

I play here at least once a month usually more, the layout is unique for the area and it is well maintained. Was in good shape especially for this time of year with all the traffic. It was backed up at just about every tee box but that’s anywhere right now.
