Brooksville Country Club offers a uniquely scenic experience with a rolling landscape covered with live oaks and remnants of the abandoned limestone mine still present throughout. The surroundings are unlike any other golf courses in central Florida, which has made it popular amongst both locals and visitors. Besides the beautiful scenery, the terrain provides dramatic elevation changes that make each hole unique. The traditional layout features contoured, rolling fairways and four memorable holes that play along and through a century-old quarry. The golf course starts out gently but becomes progressively more challenging as you head towards the back nine, which was designed by Bobby Weed. It is a layout that demands precision and rewards skillful shotmaking. In addition to the unique setting and challenging design, Brooksville Country Club also boasts immaculately conditioned fairways and greens.

Needs help

Play discourse with my wife, not knowing anything about it having only looked at the pictures. The course was established along time ago and the trees are encroaching on the west every hole. Too many areas with just hard surfaces in the fairway not green grass. Course has potential found at unplayable in his current condition.

Dog track

What a dog track slow greens no grass 49.00 to play I want 39.00 back. They have 4 nice holes, but the greens still suck. Stay away. Unless you are a hack. You have been warned!!!!!!!!

A taste of Black Diamond

If you want a taste of the Black Diamond "quarry experience", visit Brooksville Country Club. There are only four quarry holes but you will know you played them climbing in and out.

Beautiful course! The back 9 was gorgeous with some challenging holes. I live in the Tampa Bay Area but at times I thought I was on vacation somewhere else. Very nice rolling hills and canyons in an old rock quarry. Very nice! Will play there again for sure!

We were overall very disappointed in this course. The greens were mostly fine but fairways were rough and it looked like a lot of erosion had taken place on back nine.

Value course

This course is not great condition by no means. Some greens very good, some greens have such huge spots that are dead or fungus they may lose some of them. The greens are also super slow- prob a 8 at best. Fairways are decent. Rough ok. Three great holes in the quarry. The rest of the course is just ok. It’s a decent value under $50 in the winter- summer more like $25. Staff courteous.
