Brooksville Country Club offers a uniquely scenic experience with a rolling landscape covered with live oaks and remnants of the abandoned limestone mine still present throughout. The surroundings are unlike any other golf courses in central Florida, which has made it popular amongst both locals and visitors. Besides the beautiful scenery, the terrain provides dramatic elevation changes that make each hole unique. The traditional layout features contoured, rolling fairways and four memorable holes that play along and through a century-old quarry. The golf course starts out gently but becomes progressively more challenging as you head towards the back nine, which was designed by Bobby Weed. It is a layout that demands precision and rewards skillful shotmaking. In addition to the unique setting and challenging design, Brooksville Country Club also boasts immaculately conditioned fairways and greens.

We especially like the signature holes 12,13,14&17 which makes it special. Overall pace of play was ok but slowing down towards the end of the round.

I had a great day at this course.

There were no golfers behind us, so we really enjoyed the pace of play.

Definitely come back here.

The course was in great shape, but the greens were being seeded, and they were really fast.

No big deal.

Wish we could have finished the course, but daylight did not permit it.

Worth the price

Front nine is typical Floridian track. Back nine was picturesque. Greens in great shape, fairways and rough were , well, a little rough. All in all, worth the price we paid.

First nine holes are pretty straight with not a lot of hazards. It gives you time to loosen up for what you would never think you would see on the back nine.. very challenging and had a ball.

Great course and Staff

I love playing this course that’s why I play this course around once a week they have got this course to a 4 star and they keep trying to make it better. I think if they keep it up it will be a 4 1/2 in less than a year. The staff is very friendly and helpful if I was one to play the same course every time it would be this one.

Great course

Above average course, great layout.

Elevation changes on the back nine were drastic. Not typical for a Florida course. Rough could have been cut a little shorter, if you missed the fairway it was hard to find your ball.

I will definitely play here again

Crowded course allows for lots of practice.

as a single behind a foursome, I was afforded the time to play extra balls waiting on greens to clear. I even replayed some holes as no one was behind me. The quarry holes provide a testy challenge.

Best back 9 in the state

I love playing at Brooksville CC. The back 9 and the quarry hole make this course so much fun. The grounds have not been kept up as nicely as in the past but nonetheless a great golfing experience. Seriously, this course has the best back 9 in the state.
