Brooksville Country Club offers a uniquely scenic experience with a rolling landscape covered with live oaks and remnants of the abandoned limestone mine still present throughout. The surroundings are unlike any other golf courses in central Florida, which has made it popular amongst both locals and visitors. Besides the beautiful scenery, the terrain provides dramatic elevation changes that make each hole unique. The traditional layout features contoured, rolling fairways and four memorable holes that play along and through a century-old quarry. The golf course starts out gently but becomes progressively more challenging as you head towards the back nine, which was designed by Bobby Weed. It is a layout that demands precision and rewards skillful shotmaking. In addition to the unique setting and challenging design, Brooksville Country Club also boasts immaculately conditioned fairways and greens.

Course was in good condition

Considering the rains we've had, HEAT, this course was in good condition. The crews were out working to catch up after the rain. Greens were slow but expected so considering. But greens were in very good condition.

Great day to meet a stranger and become friends

I had a fun round even though I came out alone. On the first tee I connected with a nice gent who was also playing alone. Worked out perfect, and my score wasn’t half bad. Played the course a few times and have enjoyed it whenever we’re down from NC visiting family. Thanks for a great day and the storms waiting until we were teed up on eighteen!

Enjoyable Round.

The good thing about hot days on the golf course is an opportunity to use the course as a practice field. The quarry holes provide an interesting change to the oak lined fairways. Good time. The course offers 2 driving range (used alternatively) and a nice chipping/pitching green with deep bunkers and a putting green that accurately reflects the course greens.

Greens 8.5/10 Very Good 1 or 2 Greens needed some work

Fairways 9/10. Excellent Shape. Hard to find a bad spot

Tee Box 8/10 A few of them had a lot of bare spots

Bunkers 9/10 Excellent. One of the few courses in the area that

actually take care of them

Overall Rating 9/10. The front 9 may seem a little boring because the back 9 has a number of incredible holes. Great views downhill tee shots upHill approach shots a blind shot on 12. I my opinion the back 9 at Brooksville CC is one of the best in central Florida.
