Played this course before. Like the layout especially the canyon holes. Grrens fast hard and wouldn't hold an approach shot.

Course was tough but not overly so. Made for attainable challenge. Lady in pro shop was awesome.

Too bad there is a drought as the fairways are brown. I read about this course and was excited to play. The front 9 was like any municipal course, back and forth. I felt there was a bait and switch. However the back 9 was everything they advertised about. Incredible. Magnificent. I am visiting Florida. If I lived here I would play there often.

We teed off at 7:45am and didn't run into another group the entire round. The front nine is tree lined with no out of bounds to speak of, setting up for the back nine consisting of four holes strategically placed around a quarry. Undulating, small greens can cause some pin placements to be a bit "challenging." The beauty of this course is that you don't feel like you're playing Florida golf. With many elevation changes, it makes a golfer have to adjust clubs. The quarry holes are picturesque and challenging as a scratch golfer, it was a good challenge and one I will come back and play again.

Condition: 8/10, some greens were a little barren, but not too bad.

Difficulty: 7/10, small greens and some trees overhang in the fairway so placement is key.

Replayability: 9/10, the quarry holes and elevation make this course a nice change from flat, water lined golf courses.

Arrived a little early for our tee time. Staff went out of their way to make sure we had a positive experience.

Found the course to be in good condition, greens rolled true. Course has some difficult holes that will challenge shot makers especially on the back 9.

All in all, felt the course offered up a very good value and would like to come back and play again.

Side note...they have new 2021 Yamaha Queitech golf carts...added bonus.

I am appreciating the GN App, but I am learning to interpret offerings. I found a spontaneous opportunity to play this course. The offering was but for 1 golfer. As it was a 12:32 time, I did assume a regimented run course. When I arrived I found myself behind a group of 24, and roughly a half hour behind with a depleted fleet of carts.

Please don’t mis understand, I am not criticizing, but t stating that I need to read between the lines.

I was unable to complete my round and only played the front 9. I waited a half hour to play and before finishing the front 9 we were being told by the Marshal to pick up the pace.

Nice course, and was told the back 9 is even better!

I will learn to interpret what is offered and be more discerning in time.

The front 9 holes are flat and a little boring, but the back is beautiful, interesting and challenging.

The staff are great but they're overwhelmed with too many golfers who are allowed to book tee times much too close together.

The fairways are in serious need of maintenance and regular watering to soften the field and eliminate the many, "hardpan" areas. Not to mention grass rather than weeds and crab grass (which I'm sure is also a weed). Secondly, the greens need maintenance and every golfer should be "gifted" a divot repair tool and be admonished to use them.

All good till the 12th hole where there was a 3 group hold up

Nice layout and friendly staff. Fairways were somewhat bare. Greens were patchy with bare spots.

Hidden gem. Good value for the money IMO. Lots of unique holes. I recommend and will play again.

Played here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Course is in excellent shape and the back 9 is really picturesque, especially holes 12, 13 and 14. Female pro at check in was exceptionally nice and friendly. Great bang for the buck! Will definitely go back again!
