Hernando Oaks Golf & Country Club

Friend of mine recommended the course and it mostly didn't disappoint. The layout is fairly forgiving but still challenging. The greens were FAST, fastest I've played all season. Although the fairways weren't green and lush, sort of dormant, they still played well. The staff was, hmm, lackluster, nothing great, nothing terrible. All the greens were in terrific shape and all but one of the tee boxes were top notch. Overall a good value and a nice course.

Hadn't played here in a couple of years. All courses suffered from weather around here this year, but this one has held up fine. Greens were true and fast.

General course condition was good, but majority of sand traps looked abandoned.-- weeds growing in them....??? That was only negative....

Nice course with a pretty good layout. I play here a lot since it is close to home and I can almost always get a good rate on Golf Now. They have some interesting holes with lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys, ducks). They could spend a little more time on Bunker upkeep but the greens and fairways are in good shape.

Course has recovered well from hurricane Irma. Greens in great shape. Friendly staff.

I have played here a couple of times before and the course conditions improved each time. This time there was no alert for freshly punched/sanded Greens on Golf Now. I wouldn't have driven 40 minutes to play here if I knew the Greens were still healing. In addition, most of the Tee Boxes are in bad shape (no grass, lots of weeds and dirt). I will come back at a later date, and hope there will be Full Disclosure IRT course conditions.

Never an issue with Golf now, great peices, and now with easy refund if you can't make your tee time, hands down the best

First time playing here, previous reviews from some months ago led me to believe the course was in disrepair. Last few reviews trended towards improvements, and I couldn't be more surprised. The recent stretch of rain has paid dividends to all the courses, and this one sure has taken advantage. Greens were a little slow, but we got true rolls. Tee Boxes were being treated for weeds, and Fairways were being mowed while we played. Bunkers need some attention, but I was very satisfied after a drive down from Citrus Co. I will be back.

A Hot Deal from Golf Now landed us at a fabulous course! From the moment we checked in with a staff that was exceptionally friendly to the last put on the 18th hole, we had a beautiful round at Hernando Oaks! Our only suggestion is for at least one restroom to be added on the course (in place of the 2 port-a-potties) to supplement the restroom in the Pro Shop. We will defitinely be back!

Greens are still bumpy and slow (recently punched). Grass is coming back on fairways. Will be nice in a couple weeks. Pace of play was a little slow. One group holding up the whole back 9.

Very interesting cart path for back 2-3 holes of front nine. Environmentally interesting with bird life and overall course layout

Was pleased to see the course in great shape. I hadn't been there in approximately 3yrs,will be looking forward to playing there soon.

We were actually late for our tee time and the man at the desk couldn't have been more gracious. The course has interesting holes. It's a little dry but that's to be expected. Very good shape for the time of year. The greens had recently been aerated but overall weren't too bumpy. Most of the water hazards were dry which made playing the course not quite as challenging. But tough enough for me.

The greens were airraited, they told us this before we played , and they did an excellent job in doing so.

Greens have been over seeded and some of tee boxes very rough as these have been tuned as well, most of the course is very dry so a lot of bare lies on fairways, needs to have some water on it. Having said that the round was an enjoyable one
