Fairways could use some work but the greens were superb!!! Pace of play was somewhat slow tho.

The course is in good shape. Greens real nice, a couple tee boxes need some work. Fairways ok too. Don't know if it's worth $50 but prices are up right now.

Fairways and greens are decent. Not great, but not horrible. Greens are slow, about 7-8 I guess. The bunkers are horrible. We played lift clean rake and place in them. They obviously are a low budget course. Layout is superb. Not a bad hole. Surrounds of the greens are dry and sparse, not ideal for chipping and pitching. Overall, a great layout, decent conditions, good pace of play.

Tee boxes and fairways were great! Greens were beautiful! Staff was friendly and helpful. Golf carts were really nice. Restaurant had a good sandwich. Over all I was very happy with this course. Wish it was closer.

Overbooked. A lot of confusion at the 1st tee by the starter. Pace of play both times was horrible.

Hadn't played in a yeay or so. Was pleasantly surprised. Everything about the course was nice. Tee boxes, fairways, greens, even the bunkets were all in good shape for this time of year. Will definitely be back.

2nd time to play here. Both times many groups on 1 waiting to go off. Created a very slow field and pace of play.

Hadn't played the course in over 2 years so wasn't sure what to expect. Pleasantly surprised. Fairways had what looked like rye grass which was nice, course compared to what you normally get in a Florida course this time of year. Greens were a little fast but putted true. Some of the tee boxes did need some work, but overall nice course. Will be back

The fairways were in better condition than most courses within 60 miles, with lots of grass. The traps were in relatively poor condition but there was heavy rain a few days prior. The greens were in very good shape but slower than other courses, so perhaps they could be cut a bit shorter. All in all, it was a very good course for the "hot deal" price. We love the layout.

Age 70, 9.7 USGA index. Shot 39-41. First time here, playing as a single, I joined Bob and John. Very enjoyable company. Course is a beautiful look. Is wide open so, that much more enjoyable. If you miss...you miss. Fantastic shape, play the ball down. Greens are so very good. This was just after a rain deluge and a few bunkers were unplayable, So I can imagine after a couple of weeks of drying out, this course would be special. Looking forward to returning

The most important takeaway is that when friends or family come visit to play, I am bringing them here, first, Twisted Oaks, second. Both, so very fine.

After 27 years of not playing golf I am back at it. Hernando Oaks is a challenging and beautiful course. The greens are huge and the fairways have a lot of rolls and are not flat. If you don't reach the greens in regulation, it will be hard to score low.

The property is very quiet though very near high traffic areas. You feel like you are in a secluded area.

Though the course gets a lot of play, the rate of play was good. The traps were full of water, but we just got 5" of rain in the area 2 days before we played. I cannot blame the course for that.

The Brand new Yamaha golf carts were some of the best I have ever used. I will definitely play this course regularly.

Hernando Oaks is a 'don't miss this' priorty on your list. If your 'in law' from the north wants to come down from the north and play, this is a treat and they will wish they could stay. Enjoy.

The conditions were very good greens well kept overall, the day we played was wet due to quite a bit of rain the days before and the bunkers were pudding. This was of no fault of the staff of course, and you could see the bunkers were well tended in normal conditions. I fully intend to play this course again.

Layout of this course will challenge your skills. The greens were rolling true. Tee times were overbooked by Golfnow and pace of play reflected that.
