The Silverthorn Country Club golf course has earned its challenging 132 slope rating through a combination of rolling terrain, unpredictable Florida Gulf Coast winds, and no less than 96 strategically-placed bunkers. Joe Lee designed this course and it offers a mixture of wide-open links-style holes and tight, tree-lined fairways. The 25,000 square foot clubhouse offers a scenic vista of Silverthorn's championship golf course, surrounding lakes and splendid Florida sunsets. Green and challenging

Been a long time since playing the course. Greens are very good, best I've played in the last several months. Fairways and tees are ok, patchy brown, just need some rain to green up.

Hadn't been here in a long time. Greens were in very good shape, fairways ok and tees a mix. Layout is challenging for the average golfer. Staff are excellent. Will play again!

Their restaurant is very high class beautifully appointed many residents go there just for a meal

Great value

Like most golf courses the dry conditions have been problematic. Fairways are ok, rough is very rough but greens were great! Pace of play was outstanding, 9 minute tee time spacing generally assures good pace. Great value, reasonable price.

Great Greens

Greens were in great condition, rolling fast and smooth. Rest of course in good condition. Pace of play was very quick, as there were no groups in front of us when we started. Played in 3hr 45min. We always enjoy this challenging layout.
