About
The Silverthorn Country Club golf course has earned its challenging 132 slope rating through a combination of rolling terrain, unpredictable Florida Gulf Coast winds, and no less than 96 strategically-placed bunkers. Joe Lee designed this course and it offers a mixture of wide-open links-style holes and tight, tree-lined fairways. The 25,000 square foot clubhouse offers a scenic vista of Silverthorn's championship golf course, surrounding lakes and splendid Florida sunsets. This classic blend of southern charm and golfing tradition will create wonderful memories for your golf trip to Brooksville

SLOW PLAY
Waited every shot, every hole.
2 groups ahead of us was a Five-some, slowing everyone.
No ranger.

BAD
greens ok rest was really bad we almost stopped playing do not tell anyone to play this course. should be first time players SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!

Senior friendly
At 91 playing from the forward tease course is senior friendly and still challenging. I shot 87 and had a good time

Vebelt
Greens were good but fairways were dry and some had little or no grass.

Condition
They let out a group of 5 that played very slowly, and there was no ranger to help speed up the play. The greens were fast in good condition. Sand traps were below average, fairways on the front nine were bad and on the back the worst i have ever seen. I have played here several times in the past but not for years. I brought my boys and was totally embarrassed.

Great layout
Greens were good,pace of play good. Fairways and tees need lots of tlc

Horrible Conditions
I've played silverthorn several times over the years, And this time the course is in the worse shape I've ever seen a golf course in Florida. Fairways are dry and without grass tee boxes included. And let me tell you about the 5 sum in front of us, 5 people 5 carts and never let pass through. No wonder the course is in such bad shape. Don't waste your money here

Bad shape
This was a nice course not long ago. It is in rough shape. The fairways are dead and filled with weeds. There is very little grass around the bunkers, and most of the greens are in poor condition. The staff and clubhouse are great.

terrible conditions !!!!!
same as before, tee beds terrible, fairways terrible, only good thing are the greens
