About
Meadowlark Golf Club in Huntington Beach is a player-friendly layout that is a popular choice amongst locals. Like most classically designed layouts, the course is short and tight but that also makes it easily walkable. The pin placements on the greens can be tricky and there are also some challenging water hazards that come into play on several holes. The golf course will test your short game skills but there are wide, player-friendly fairways that balance the trickier elements. Beware, though, numerous trees on the golf course make many of the tee shots tight and narrow. It is not an overly difficult layout but it is an enjoyable round that players of any skill level will enjoy. Meadowlark also offers affordable rates that make it doubly appealing.

This course has great features
We like this course because it is closed to home. Staffs is very friendly and helpful. To us this course is very challenging.
Meadowlark is a course where you can always count on getting in a good quick round early in the morning. While it's a short course, there are enough features such as sharp dog legs and turtle back greens that will challenge the average golfer.
Tuesday
Played on a Tuesday afternoon and the pace was just right. Starter left us off early and the course was open with little issues in play. Good course for all golfers
greens were being aerated
The pace was bad but the greens were being aerated. Not a bad day of golf.
Course was, playing partners terrific
I have always enjoyed this course, do to some of the challenges including some of the concave greens.
Cold but quick Saturday morning round
Cold morning that started warming up as the round went on. The course was pretty wet though with quite a bit of standing water as 9 of the holes were cart path only. Besides the water the round was fairly good with a great pace of play (18 holes / 3h 25m).
Poor pace of play
Extremely poor pace of pay, only finished 6 hours in 2.5 hours. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced a round like this here.
Nice course
For such flat location the course has interesting elevation on many holes, breathtaking water carry on hole 7, greens roll true but recent rains caused some fairways to turn muddy or standing water. It’s a fun course overall.
A bit slow
Average player not knowing there game and gathering at each other's ball.
