About
Meadowlark Golf Club in Huntington Beach is a player-friendly layout that is a popular choice amongst locals. Like most classically designed layouts, the course is short and tight but that also makes it easily walkable. The pin placements on the greens can be tricky and there are also some challenging water hazards that come into play on several holes. The golf course will test your short game skills but there are wide, player-friendly fairways that balance the trickier elements. Beware, though, numerous trees on the golf course make many of the tee shots tight and narrow. It is not an overly difficult layout but it is an enjoyable round that players of any skill level will enjoy. Meadowlark also offers affordable rates that make it doubly appealing.

Cart Service is Non Existent
We had a 1:04 tee time and saw numerous cart attendants before we tee’d off, but never saw her/him on the course once throughout the round. There was an also a Marshall on the course, but the 8 some ahead of us was dragging!

Pace of play EXCELLENT. Finished in 3:45 hrs
Greens very good but fast. Even when wet in the morning.
Forgiving course but many challenges throughout. Lot's of difficult par 3s.
Fairways improved over last month due to the rain.
Water hazards can be difficult.

Really rough course
The course is really rough. Terrible fairways and green surrounds, and bunkers They need to aireate the fairways. The staff at the course are great… the course is over used and under maintained. Won’t be back

For the price point, this was a great value. Course was in good shape and challenging.

Foggy golf
First 11 holes played in sometimes dense fog. The need to keep the golf ball in the short grass forced us to not use driver. Greens small but playable. We played it like rain lift and place. Had a good time scored the lowest round in the last 4 months(79)

High quality for this tier of course
Fairway and off fairway were excellent for ball playability without repositioning or looking too long for the ball. Grass quality and turf were great. The fairways were easy to hit at over 200 yards driving. Plenty of challenges in the course layout. A lot of fun for the price point and overall quality.

Meadowlark Golf Course HB,CA
Meadowlark has a fantastic staff, always cheerful and helpful. Their putting greens are the highlight of the course, lots of tricky hole placements with competitive rolling speeds. Make sure you show up early and check in early, the staff is always trying to keep pace of play up. I haven't played a round that lasted over 4 hours yet, but also I play during the week. I am sure that would change on busy weekends, but during the week the course plays well. Lots of fun trees, that make the course challenging.

Local HB Course
Local HB course in great condition. Pace is good, back up by some of the par 3s (to be expected). Staff is always friendly. Love our hometown course!

Works in a pinch
Unique course design. Green in very good condition. Tee boxes and fairways were poor. Not expensive but still relatively poor value for money.

Perfect Day at Meadowlark GC
Course in great condition. The greens are especially nice. Weather in HB was California perfection. Staff is wonderful. On side note, Ruben is the world's best bar tender at the 19th hole.

Our apologies your experience was up to par. Our beverage cart attendants can sometimes get side tracked with other groups and not survey the course as well as they could.
