About
Meadowlark Golf Club in Huntington Beach is a player-friendly layout that is a popular choice amongst locals. Like most classically designed layouts, the course is short and tight but that also makes it easily walkable. The pin placements on the greens can be tricky and there are also some challenging water hazards that come into play on several holes. The golf course will test your short game skills but there are wide, player-friendly fairways that balance the trickier elements. Beware, though, numerous trees on the golf course make many of the tee shots tight and narrow. It is not an overly difficult layout but it is an enjoyable round that players of any skill level will enjoy. Meadowlark also offers affordable rates that make it doubly appealing.

Works in a pinch
Unique course design. Green in very good condition. Tee boxes and fairways were poor. Not expensive but still relatively poor value for money.
Perfect Day at Meadowlark GC
Course in great condition. The greens are especially nice. Weather in HB was California perfection. Staff is wonderful. On side note, Ruben is the world's best bar tender at the 19th hole.

Where are the greens?
The course was a good value, not that easy with elevation changes and tricky water obstacles. The one thing that really bothered me was the lack of information about green locations. If you can’t actually see the green/flag from the t box, there is no way to determine where to direct your ball. The fairway layout is not printed on the scorecard or even on the hole markers. You get to a hole/ t box and see the sign with the number, yardage and par. No indication of the shape of the fairway or location of the green. I ended up driving in the wrong direction a couple of times. Come on Meadowlark, put it out there!
We apologize you had a tough time navigating around the course but we are happy to hear you enjoyed the day! We do offer a virtual scorecard with GPS and course layout information which can be accessed through the QR code on our scorecard. This is a nice course that they are upgrading. Greens are a little bumpy due to aeration of them. Overall a good place to play

Out of state player
Visiting from NJ, I was looking for a nice course that was local to where I was staying. The check in process was simple and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The layout was some times a little confusing to navigate and there were a lot of range balls on several holes. This made for locating your ball difficult at times. Outside of the that, as a hot deal offer, I think it was worth the money.

Fun local course
Greens had just been punched, but they were still rolling okay. Nice layout, bits of elevation change. Great pace of play. Will pl;ay again
