About
At Red Rock Country Club, Arnold Palmer has created an escape from desert golf with a lush green course that forces golfers to think over their shots. As you're thinking, a waterfall could be crashing in the background. There are actually two Palmer courses here, but only The Arroyo is open for public play.
It measures in at 6,883 yards from the back tees and uses dramatic bunkering to set off its holes. The par 4s are particularly inventive, especially the 432-yard 4th. The par-3 seventh gives you great views of The Strip in the distance. The greens consistently run 10-11 on the Stimpmeter and the fairways are designed to funnel shots that are not overly wild back into decent lies.
"The Arroyo Course is what it is -- a playable course with stunning scenery and a smattering of decent golf holes," former TravelGolf.com writer Shane Sharp said. "It won't provide as memorable a round as Sin City's big-name resort courses, but the price is relative. If you're looking for a course to include in your annual Vegas rotation, Arroyo would be a nice addition, considering its conditioning and scenery."

Good course but only for about an $80 rate oir lower
Very good course, nice practice area, good people, greens are very very fast to be careful. Worth it for up to about $80 but for the prime time rates much higher, not that much better than some lesser courses in the city
Nice desert course
This course was in good shape for a desert course in winter. The practice facility was good. The staff was courteous. I feel the price is on the expensive side compared to other Vegas courses.

Disappointing
The pace of play is terrible.
We book a tee time on 11:57 and It was delayed 45min due to frost.
The pace of play delayed 40min also.
We could not finish the play that is over 100 dollars course.
My first time visiting is disappointing.
You can really tell when the course is paying attention when they post a comment like this after your round LOL

Ok experience
40 minute frost delay;
Course was in okay shape; greens were pitted with divot marks
Tee boxes were straw like
Bunkers were in great shape
Pace of play was slow! 4 hours

Not worth it
This course is very underwhelming. Tee boxes are dead grass I imagine because of water restrictions. The course couldn’t be more basic. To me, it was very much like a muni course but charging over $100. The fairways and greens are straight ahead. Very short and leaves nothing to the imagination.
The biggest problem is the pace of play. I checked in with bag drop/starter at my tee time and he said they were running half an hour behind. He said a starter would come get me in approximately a half an hour. No one ever did. I finally took the liberty of just going out. Only issue is I had no clue that the first tee would be like a mile drive through a road and residential neighborhood.

Nice Layout - fun to play
Course was on frost delay so made our 11:00 tee time tight to finish before dark. Course was enjoyable but many ball marks on the greens. Due to winter, tee boxes were brown but fairways were green with good coverage. Target golf layout with lots of desert areas to navigate. Did finish in 4.5 hours. Would definitely recommend this course.

They over-book BIG TIME!
Might have been a nice round but they so over-booked that it was completely stacked up and stupid slow. We quit after TWO HOLES!
They gave us a rain-check but said it's this way ALL THE TIME? Excuse me? They do this "all the time!?"

Beautiful course in great condition
Was a great experience, but due to the frost delay we were running behind. Barely fingered before dark. Highly recommend but be mindful of tiling

Time change resulted in darkness…slow play earlier in the day impacted our pace.
They are busy enough a course ranger would seem appropriate to maintain pace of play especially given the the navigation thru neighborhoods to go from green to tee.

Well maintained / needs Marshals
Course was well maintained and picturesque
We had a 7:32 tee off and started 10 minutes late and the group in front of us was very slow. Marshalling would be a value for sure

Great course - slow play
Course was in great shape. Some holes have narrow fairways.
Pace of play sucks and no starter to keep tee times on track. Got to the first hole and there were three groups already stacked.
