About
At Red Rock Country Club, Arnold Palmer has created an escape from desert golf with a lush green course that forces golfers to think over their shots. As you're thinking, a waterfall could be crashing in the background. There are actually two Palmer courses here, but only The Arroyo is open for public play.
It measures in at 6,883 yards from the back tees and uses dramatic bunkering to set off its holes. The par 4s are particularly inventive, especially the 432-yard 4th. The par-3 seventh gives you great views of The Strip in the distance. The greens consistently run 10-11 on the Stimpmeter and the fairways are designed to funnel shots that are not overly wild back into decent lies.
"The Arroyo Course is what it is -- a playable course with stunning scenery and a smattering of decent golf holes," former TravelGolf.com writer Shane Sharp said. "It won't provide as memorable a round as Sin City's big-name resort courses, but the price is relative. If you're looking for a course to include in your annual Vegas rotation, Arroyo would be a nice addition, considering its conditioning and scenery."

Golf Arroyo
The course has a great layout, the fairways well maintained, and the greens were good.

Great coursed very windy day
The course was in great shape, unfortunately it was extremely windy the day we played. 25-40 mph made the day less than appealing but not a reflection of the course. Will play again.

SLOW!!!!!!!
Decent course but extremely slow pace. No marshal’s and translates into ‘6 hour round’!!!
Also too few carts, so had to wait for carts.
Also no balls on driving range!!
Way too expensive for this poor of an experience.
Will never go there again.

Expected More
When a course charges this kind of rate you would expect great conditions. The catcher on the lawn mower must have been broken because the fairways were full of clippings deep enough to lose a ball in. In the middle of the fairway. Greens were full of ball marks and slow due to sanding. I won't be back.

Worth the price
Course was in amazing shape. Rough was thick and lush. Fairways were pristine and sand in bunkers was fluffy and well manicured. Pace of play was good. Never waited on a hole. Saw the cart girl 4 times so that's a bonus. Play here.

Excellent Experience
First time playing this course. On a road trip with my buddy and we decided to play here. Great choice!! Staff were friendly and helpful. Made you feel welcome.

Aerated Greens
Kudos to the superintendent and his cree for a job well done on aerating the greens. They still roll like normal greens.

They had just arified the greens and they were full of sand. There was not a reduced rate for the greens being awful. The bunkers were either no sand or too much sand.

Mixed experience
Overall, the course was a tough challenge, in good shape, rough was very penalizing US Open style rough . Greens were in nice shape.
Shout out to John Morgan, who bailed me out of an embarrassing situation. Booked the tee time mistakenly a week before we arrived through golf now as a prepaid round. He was able to change up our reservation honoring the same rate. Very cool and helpful of him. 5 stars for being accommodating.
My less than stellar experience was with the dining area. Arrived with 3 other buddies an hour before tee time to grab a quick breakfast before heading to the range. 45 minutes later the food arrived, so no good warmup time, felt rushed getting to the tee box because it was 5 minute cart ride to first tee.
Also, the food was cold, and made me feel ill, so not a great way to start the round. I’m sure there were staffing issues but maybe something to look at.
