About
At Red Rock Country Club, Arnold Palmer has created an escape from desert golf with a lush green course that forces golfers to think over their shots. As you're thinking, a waterfall could be crashing in the background. There are actually two Palmer courses here, but only The Arroyo is open for public play.
It measures in at 6,883 yards from the back tees and uses dramatic bunkering to set off its holes. The par 4s are particularly inventive, especially the 432-yard 4th. The par-3 seventh gives you great views of The Strip in the distance. The greens consistently run 10-11 on the Stimpmeter and the fairways are designed to funnel shots that are not overly wild back into decent lies.
"The Arroyo Course is what it is -- a playable course with stunning scenery and a smattering of decent golf holes," former TravelGolf.com writer Shane Sharp said. "It won't provide as memorable a round as Sin City's big-name resort courses, but the price is relative. If you're looking for a course to include in your annual Vegas rotation, Arroyo would be a nice addition, considering its conditioning and scenery."

Under construction and in very poor condition. It actually astounded us that they would charge $115.per golfer to play there. Terrible!!!

This course is in poor condition, both greens and fairways. A good portion of the course is under construction. Charging us $115 to play at this course in these conditions is a total ripoff. Very disappointed.

Super slow pace of play. Yes ,the bunkers are as bad as others have mentioned in their reviews. The greens were in awful shape. The weather was fantastic as were our playing partners other than that the course was a big letdown.

It’s ok, but not worth $145
Playing as a single I got there at 11:20 for 12:01 t-time and found out they moved me back to 12:10. Not a big deal but ok. Wanted to get to driving range and hit a few but there was no carts available and the range is really not a walkable distance. So I putted a few on the putting green which was very small. Not a lot of room. Checked back and still no cart but they told me I’d be riding with the people I got paired with. I requested I ride solo and they initially said they don’t have enough carts to allow for that. So, I asked “isn’t that included in the green fees?”. No, only double riders included. Then they said I could ride solo but would have to pay another $25.. So, whatever, I did that. Drove out to the range and it was fine. Although it needed to be cleaned up as there were empty coffee cups and beer cans laying around next to the hitting area. Course itself was, ehh, ok. The greens were lighting fast. Needed some love. Sand traps hadn’t been raked in at-least 3 days and some of the t-boxes were spray painted green! Yes, that was a first for me. No starter or any tips given by anyone prior to the round. Not a great experience for me. In my estimate its probably a $65 course.

Windy winter day at Arroyo
The course was in fairly good shape. There was work going on several holes that caused the changing of the start hole to facilitate morning grounds crews.

Buddy Tourney
Held our annual tourney there. The course was in good condition and the staff was very helpful. Would recommend to other groups.
Better than average
Not too difficult but fun. Most of the course is in payable condition. Greens are faster than average but fair with a few exceptions.
