About
At Red Rock Country Club, Arnold Palmer has created an escape from desert golf with a lush green course that forces golfers to think over their shots. As you're thinking, a waterfall could be crashing in the background. There are actually two Palmer courses here, but only The Arroyo is open for public play.
It measures in at 6,883 yards from the back tees and uses dramatic bunkering to set off its holes. The par 4s are particularly inventive, especially the 432-yard 4th. The par-3 seventh gives you great views of The Strip in the distance. The greens consistently run 10-11 on the Stimpmeter and the fairways are designed to funnel shots that are not overly wild back into decent lies.
"The Arroyo Course is what it is -- a playable course with stunning scenery and a smattering of decent golf holes," former TravelGolf.com writer Shane Sharp said. "It won't provide as memorable a round as Sin City's big-name resort courses, but the price is relative. If you're looking for a course to include in your annual Vegas rotation, Arroyo would be a nice addition, considering its conditioning and scenery."

Great Course
The over all conditions of the course was great. The bunkers need a lot of improvement, to many rocks and not enough sand, especially around the greens. The greens were great, smooth and fast. The only draw back was it seems like no one likes to fix there ball divots.They will take the time to pick up there tees. I guess they figure some one else will fix them for them. Other than that, i'll be back to play this course again.

When we play golf Windy and very cold. But course is very good.

Great course aside from the bunkers, which are horrid. Could use better signage to get to the clubhouse. Great design and solid pace of play.

Great Golf Course
Cool Lay out. Has some very interesting holes. The first cut of the rough was 5 inches of thick grass so you could be a foot off the fairway and have a hard time finding the ball. The fairways are wide enough so HIT EM STRAIGHT and Go Low !

Mediocre conditions and slow pace of play
For prime time, this was disappointing. We normally love this course. But it’s not great right now. No sand in the bunkers, new grass is growing in with ridges, and the pace of play was S. L. O. W. Not as bad as Sienna, but expect a 5 hour round. Sienna is 6 hours right now.

Waste of Money
I have had privilege of playing many courses around the country and one major pet peeve I have is the course that is doing repairs that does not tell prospective customers what they will see. This course is charging high prices for horrible conditions. The fairways were a disaster, recently punched and overwatered. The desert was in better condition than the bunkers.
Don't waste your money. Hard to believe as we played the private course earlier in the week and it was very nice, super slow greens but nice. Hard to believe it was the same club.
Normal maintenance happens at this time of the year and we were delayed with seed due to Covid. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Recommend
I would definitely recommend. Course is in great shape. Got behind some really SLOW golfers. I had to call the club house to have someone come out and ask them to move along. After that the pace was better. The good news is they sent someone out.

Over priced, poor condition.
At a time when the rest of the golf courses are in great shape after the over seed, this course is in really poor condition. The bunkers all have the liners exposed and hardly any sand, the fairways are half dead and the driving range is absolutely horrible. Play somewhere else unless you are desperate. But, nice views.

SO Disappointed....Would not play again.
We had just moved from Chicago and bought the Arroyo/Siena membership for $199 each. We played Arroyo today. What a HUGE disappointment. The course was in terrible shape. You would have to pay me to play this course again. The t-boxes were mostly bare. Fairways had many many areas where there was no grass at all. I was in a bunker and in the bunker, there was a huge rock - not placed there - but the sand was so bare that the rock showed thru. I was afraid to hit my club for fear of damaging it.
To say something positive - the staff were great. Very friendly. The starter got us out a bit early and really enjoyed all of the people..... EXCEPT -- beverage cart lady -- was NASTY. We came upon her and she had to back up to let us thru. You would have thought we had just committed the worst crime!! Pace of play was good even though the course was packed.
