About
Located about an hour from both the Monterey Peninsula and the San Francisco Bay area is Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Gilroy, a city known as the "Garlic Capital of the World" and just east of Santa Cruz. Eagle Ridge's 18 holes of modern-designed championship golf are set amongst the oak forest foothills since it opened in 2000. The golf course features six sets of tee boxes, 92 bunkers, three lakes, seven creeks and also features many multi-tiered greens so it can play as challenging as golfers of any skill level would like. Eagle Ridge Golf Club also features full practice, restaurant and clubhouse facilities.

Beautiful setting
Beautiful course. Greens were nice. Course definitely needs attention. Lack of maintenance on bridges landscaping. Clubhouse shows lack of maintenance with holes in walls paint chipping.
Challenging Golf
Nice , course conditions, with very well maintained greens!
Tee boxes and sand traps in very good condition.
Par 3’s are strong and par 5’s are fairly tight.
Fun course to play, early morning best time to play this course .
Good bar and Food after golfing

Revisiting Eagle Ridge
Now that the bunkers have sand in them again, the quality of the course is back on part with the other course in the area. Fairways were cut tight and the greens were rolling true. Disappointed that the restaurant was not available.

Quick Round
Not bad day. The course was fairly empty and so pace of play was super quick. The greens are almost back to perfect after aeration last month. Just wish the price was a bit better but not bad

Nice Course
Nice course, no beverage cart service, most bunkers lacked real sand, on an inch then hard pan

Fantastic hidden gem
Overall this course is amazing!!! Layout is awesome, lots of character and plenty of fun holes. Greens were a good pace, not lightening quick but rolled true. Has some absolutely fantastic holes. Worth the drive from the Bay Area for sure. Would recommend to anyone!

Great to an old friend back to life
Last time I played here was 2007. I moved away from the area and returned while back. Last recent time I played the course was in despair but the bone were good. Just played this Easter Sunday and was pleasantly surprised and impressed with what the superintendent has done ! Some course changes that really didn’t affect the Miller design. The grounds are definitely looking much better then my last time I played. The course is not quite there like it was in 1998 however, it’s definitely on its way and looking great. Highly recommend this track as it will test your game front a tee positions . Great job to the staff in the pro shop and greens staff. She’s coming back boys!!!!
