Eagle Ridge Golf Club

Eagle ridge is undergoing some changes. Many of the sand traps are getting removed so lots of sand ground under repair but course is very playable. Greens and fairways are in great shape and layout is challenging. ER had way way too much sand before so the end result looks promising. Had a good time and would play again

I really enjoy playing this course. Unfortunately one of our friends had his vaccination shot and was under the weather. Got paired up with a guy named Hank and the three of us had a great time. Never rushed.

I would like to be told that two of holes were being repaired and not be surprised when we got to those holes. It will not stop me from coming to play here. It would just be better if we were told of what to expect. The maintenance only makes this course that much better to play the next time we play golf here.

Eagle Ridge is a great layout still after not playing it in about 10 years. Used to play it all the time in its heyday when course was in pristine condition. Now a few bare spots in the fairways, and still have to redo the bunkers on 6 holes, but overall great day!

Real sand, improvements are still in progress and things are looking great.

It’s a bit of a drive to get to Gilroy, but eagle ridge is well worth it. The layout of the course is thrilling and has hardly been spoiled by real estate development. The bunkers were going to seed for a while but they are being rebuilt and that will make the course an A+ in my book.

I wish they would tell you when they have shortened holes before you pay for the round. This course has been working on their traps for several years. They are making progress, but are only on #11. Disappointed that this work is not done.

Let me start off with a minor suggestion, when they are doing construction on a fairway the front office should let you know when you check in.

My friends and I love this course. We have played it about Five times since we started playing golf last year. When we first played here we scored about 110.... now we are mid to low 90’s. And have improved our game by only hitting other fairways about 5% of the time compared to 50% since we first started..

We plan on playing this course at least once every 5-6 weeks as we like to hit other courses around the Bay Area.

First timer on the course . Would have been 5 stars across the board but.. one of the holes was under repair so they shortened it to the fairway and made it in to a par 3. Using the fairway as the green...

went out as a single and didn’t know the course so wasn’t familiar with the hazards ..

looking forward to my next visit!! Hopefully All repairs will be done !

Looks like Eagle Ridge is working on revitalizing the course. I would bring my buddies into play when we see improvements. There are tight landing areas and forces you to think through the course. Glad it’s in the surrounding San Jose Area.

Good shape course for no rain, some bunkers under repair and some trees need to be trimmed out of the fairways. The generous fairways are all green with very few bald spots. The breeze did affect our ball flight but not bad. There were a couple of twosomes that were in a great hurry so we let them play through.

I really enjoyed this course. The course design is a good challenge. The had the tips moved up to the blues so I look forward to playing there again from the true tips. The greens were aerated but the still rolled really well. I’ll definitely play here multiple times going forward.
